Robert J Lang's brown widow!

First time tackling a crease pattern only model, HELL of a challenge but I think it came out pretty good!

Made from homemade single tissue with fountain pen ink spots

Didn't get the abdomen quite the same as the original, more of an orb weaver then a widow but I'm happy!

Little bird by Satoshi Kamiya, from 16 cm double tissue

Tried something different with the wings but the paper was too small to clean out the details. It was a leftover paper from the large sheet I made for Ryujin 3.5 and I didn't wanna waste it so decided to make this cute model out of it.

Why tessellation curves?

Recently I started trying making tessellation and this is the second one I make.

However after finished it the paper curves really hard that I have to press it to make it flat, is this normal or how can I solve it?

Which one do you like more?

One is a bookmark which is usable,

And other is a showpiece for decoration.

Blakiston’s Fish Owl by Katsuta Kyohei

Folded from 25cm tant, which was way too thick. I had to fudge some details in the head, legs, and tail.

As an aside, anyone have any ideas for what to use as a stand? The current one is a toothpick and eraser, but I don’t have that many dead erasers left.

So always impressed by how small they can fold !

Turtle - Kamiya Satoshi, folded by Việt Lưu from an uncut square of Papyrus B2 paper 30x30cm 😱😱😱

A very clean shooting and well folding effort gives this incredibly tiny piece of art a chilled, comfortable emotion. The choice of Papyrus color has done a perfect job in bringing this Origami turtle to life.

Wanted to try folding something complicated but only had 15x15 paper

So I stubbornly squeezed jo nakamashi's scorpion out of it, I think I've earned myself bigger paper, as a treat

I need some help

Im not sure if this is allowed but I have been struggling with money and can not get any paper. If you have any left over paper you do not need, I’ll be happy to take it. If not, that’s fine. Dm me if interested. Thanks
