I certainly had to print something to get this functionality

Hallo zusammen!
Took me many tries to get it right. If you have a 3D printer you can download the model from Printables print them yourself: https://www.printables.com/model/1716804-hooting-owl-wind-chime
I've started with a base version on a stick. For the last weeks I've tried to develop a wind chimes version. I've used wood filament for the prints in the video.
Hope that 3D printed stuff is ok here.
Hey there! After many hours of tinkering, I've just released my hooting owls wind chime: The owls in this wind chime start to make a hooting sound when the wind blows by; they really sound similar to an owl.
This model is 100% handcrafted, no AI.
Here are three demo videos:
You can find it on printables and it is my entry for the wind chimes contest.
Edit: The onshape model is here for tinkering.
Edit 2: Better video.

Edit
The reader is keyboard-oriented (pretty much like vim) and features a powerful query language and bulk-operations. It has many more features and is very customizable. And some say its beautiful (despite being a terminal application).

This project is **not vibe-coded** and every line of rust code was written by me. I've used LLMs to learn rust. You can find a description of my approach for this here
The Windows version can be installed by scoop.

Hey! I've just stumbled upon this community. I've modeled some 3D-printable owls which may be of interest to you. And if you have a 3D printer you can just print them (all models are open source/free).
