Tubeless Conversion

Just finished doing a tubeless conversion on my Hero XPulse 210 using the tube flap/split tube method.

Setup:

New Maxxis Maxxplore tyres (tubeless compatible)

Used an Avenger rear tube as the flap liner

Initial impressions:

Bead seated properly

Holding pressure well so far

No visible leaks after soap water test

Will monitor over the next few rides for:

pressure loss,

bead stability

Anyone else running a similar setup long term on the XPulse? C

I’ve been noticing a clicking sound while turning the handlebars. When I showed it at the service center, they just tightened the lock nut and said it’s “normal.”

Didn’t feel right, so I opened it up at a local garage — and this is the condition of the lower bearing.

Now I’m a bit confused:

Is this bearing already gone or can it still be used for a while?

Is riding like this risky (especially at speed or off-road)?

I do want to replace it, but the part isn’t available in Siliguri right now, which is the main issue.

So wanted to ask:

Has anyone here faced the same issue on 210?

Did you try alternative bearings (other brands / tapered conversion / cross-compatible parts)?

Any specific bearing size or model that fits directly?
