Just finished this custom medieval cat kidney bag for a customer; cat tax of the models and the medieval cats I based the drawings off of are included! I'm really pleased with how it turned out and how the leather lacing connecting the flaps looks! :)
Just finished making this custom medieval cat kidney bag of the kitties Vinz and Zuul, and I think it turned out super great. I'm really pleased with the leather lacing on the flaps of the bag especially, and I think the cats turned out super cute, so I wanted to share. :)
I'm a leather crafter, and I've been making a series of medieval marginalia/illumination bags. I also take pictures of people's pets and carve and paint them as medieval cats. I wanted to share them with fellow medieval cat enjoyers. :)
It's not a marginalia this time, but I did give a kraken some swords. He will be with me at Norseforged Gathering this weekend!

Just finished making a custom medieval cat bag for @gremsstagram (instagram). The lovely Grem is the model for the bag, and she is a beautiful space queen. <3
The bag is hand- carved, - painted, and - stitched, made with Pueblo Badalassi leather. I waterproofed it after finishing with SNO SEAL to keep it protected if her parents get caught in a storm at the rennfaire (as happens to us all).
Currently getting the bag packed up and protected to get it shipped out later today. :)
