I would like to propose that we change Marvin's last name to Schnitzeldick from now on.
You've probably seen me a few times on this reddit calling Marvin out and giving him the last name Schnitzeldick and I want to all of you why we should call him this and how they can do it.
First why he should be called this.
Marvin has been known to be the equivalent of a bum his entire life and a terrible husband and father. More so a bad father but regardless. To be honest before the infamous Jeffy parents episode I was one of those people who wanted Logan to burn jeffy as soon as he could. I hated Jeffy to a point where every time I saw him or he was referenced my blood would boil. Then when I watched the jeffy parents episode I started to sympathize with him. I understood why he did all those things (mostly for comedy) but because he had no freedom, no way of being himself because everytime him and his sister did anything Nancy would beat them to a pulp. I finally understood and was more understanding of jeffy from then on. Does that excuse the stuff he did of course not but I understand why he does it. But for some reason even after all that Marvin still has a need to treat him like a burden and has a need to torment and torture him.
He constantly tries to feed jeffy a food that jeffy has stated numerous times and even when Brooklyn guy suggest fruit Marvin says no because they're too yummy.
He grounds him for the tiniest of inconveniences like asking him a question.
Everything jeffy does puts Marvin in a state of engagement. Like when jeffy drew a picture of a Pepsi can with a butt. If I was drawing something or painting something and someone told me it was stupid I would also paint on the couch.
He beats him even though he knows jeffy probably has ptsd from it due to Nancy but also because of again tiny infractions in Marvin's life.
He keeps saying Jeffy is 21 years old even though hes mentally disabled. Yeah hes smart but that dosent really matter when you can't even count and know colors. I have a neighbor across the street who nearly exactly like jeffy but without the pencil in his nose and helmet. Hes in his 20s but he has to wear a diaper because he cant wipe.
Even after all that there's also the other stuff Marvin's has done that dosent involve jeffy.
Not paying his house payment to goodman
Being very stingy with money.
Telling his actual biological son that he was a mistake and never wanted him and even after apologizing told him that he couldn't even be in his life.
Cheated on rose multiple times even in his dreams (this one isnt too bad due to rose being just as guilty but still)
He never pays Brooklyn guy for his service
Uses Brooklyn guy for his services and just calls Brooklyn guy his best friend just to get free service.
Submits to goodmans endless amount of torture im honestly surprised he hasn't worn a gimp suit at this point and made marvin walk like a dog while good men held him by a leash ( would you be surprised if that happened -_-)
He always sits on the couch and watches TV and does nothing in his life
And finally never sticks up for himself. At all.
I hope these reasons are enough to convince you that Marvin deserves to have his last name be changed to Schnitzeldick now as for how they can do this its actually pretty simple.
Goodman comes for Marvin's house payment which obvious he dosent have. So goodman gives him a sheet of paper he needs to sign just to keep staying in the house. Marvin without actually reading it signs it and goodman tells him to have a good day and leaves. Everything starts to seems normal until a package for marvin comes in and thats where the high jinx ensue. From having to sign for a package to go to a restraunt to goodman literally putting a sign on the front of the house saying "Hi im Marvin Schnitzeldick" Marvin then calls goodman and tries to figure out why he did this to which goodman tells him that if he paid his house payment he would probably still have his old last name but he didnt. Then after goodman leaves a bunch of people come in and laugh at Marvin and mock him calling him Schnitzeldick to which marvin screams in agony.
So what do you think? Did i convince you and do you think it would be good enough to be a running joke. Like if some asked for Marvin Schnitzeldick he could scream out loud "ITS NOT SCHNITZELDICK!!!" Idk I think that would work really well as a running joke
