Issues with loot in mid-late game with groups

As an older player that has been off and on with this game since early alphas, I have occasionally faced issues with groups related to looting POIs, quest loot rooms, safes etc. in that players will either metagame in as the "looter" role and be the point person 100% of the time to open boxes first (and get mad that others open them), or players rush and get to the loot room first with all the rest of the team going in excited for loot but the loot hoarder saying "oh it was nothing I already looted the room it had some ammo and heals" as if we could see it or trust them.

To be honest I have not played much since 1.0 so not sure if there have been mechanics in place to combat this or if there are any supporting mods but I would suggest the following:

- Handle loot skill upgrades separately if opted into a team similarly to how charismatic nature perk is with influence vs individualized loot bonus upgrades

- A system to distribute loot as an opt in when teaming, so that for instance the designated looter can always open, but the loot will highlight in yellow based on who has the chest open to show it as that players loot only (could be randomized or maybe priority loot drop system)

- A way so we can finally open a chest and see all of its contents as a group to deter hoarding, stealing, etc.

Those are some thoughs and I would like to hear your experiences or suggestions. If there are no mods to support something like this currently, maybe I could try learning something new and have a go at it...
