God bless Obsidian - an ode

One year in, and it started with a vault,

A digital space for my thoughts to exalt.

On my MacBook bolt, a typewriter soul,

The aesthetic of old makes my wandering whole.

From coding to design, I create to a fault,

Grinding the gears 'til the ideas halt.

Every choice feels intentional, polished, and clear,

The best piece of software I’ve used in a year.

No glitches, no "gaff," just a UI that sings,

To a helpful community, the joy that it brings.

Hip hip hooray for the gems that we all craft,

And to every thinker given wings to draft <3

Do you sit in front of or next to your partner?

My bf and I have been dating for a few months now and I feel like we should sit next to each other whenever we do stuff (eating, movies, board games, reading, etc.).

I feel like siting in front of someone is only for the first few dates but after that I feel like you should sit next to your partner. He thinks that's weird and keeps asking me if it's cause I don't want to see his face. Bruh, like if I have you sit in front of me it's cause I am keeping a distance and watching your ever move. Why wouldn't I want to sit next to you if I like you??

Am I the weird one?

Should I niche in construction or E-commerce?

I've been doing bookkeeping for two clients since I started a few months ago, they were family + friends that wanted me to take over their books when their businesses started growing and I gave them a discount since they were my first clients.

Anyways, one is a in the construction space, a small contractor and the other is an e-commerce company, sells hand-made bags.

I'm trying to expand my practice and was thinking that it might be hard to market to both groups since the bookkeeping for project based businesses can be a lot different and becoming an expert in both might be hard.

Which business type should I try to target? Also am I overthinking it? my current clients are small businesses so their bookkeeping isn't that complicated but I'm concerned that once I try to get larger businesses as clients I will mess up their books.

If anyone niches in either would love to hear how you feel about either industry! Thanks :)
