Is Justin becoming the worst member of TAZ?
For all Travis’s faults and genuine issues as a GM, at least he has some passion and energy to bring to the table. I actually genuinely enjoyed the first maybe 5 minutes of the new TAZ episode, I thought it was goofy and it sounds like they’re gonna have fun with it. But then Justin comes in and just sucks all the energy out of the room.
It feels like his goal now with every game they play is to be as disengaged and as combative as possible when playing, his goal is just to make the gameplay and RP as difficult for the GM and other players as possible. It makes me sad because he usually was the one with the best character at the end of the game, Lady Godwin is actually his most recent enjoyable character but I feel like he actually had fun playing that game. So maybe he’s just bracing himself for another rough ride with Travis at the head and has already given up, but in doing so he has immediately tanked the game from the start.
My hopes for this season are not high, but they have dropped lower. I think they might actually have a decent season with this set up since it seems like it’s perfectly unserious which works well for Travis, but Justin may be the problem for this one.
