Is the seafront a public highway?
Ok so I don’t like being a moaning bitch. But I’m about to be a moaning bitch!
So yesterday I had a wander along the seafront and noticed that Brighton Music Hall had blocked the walkway with locked fencing. Are they legally allowed to do this? And why?
As a caveat I used to work in this place back when it was called the Gemini. Every night we had to remove all the benches and stack them in storage. As the council wouldn’t let them have permanent seats out front as it was a public way.
So I’m not saying the progress of what they’ve built isn’t somewhat of an improvement. But all the fencing on the seafront is starting to look ugly and block access.
I dunno what do we think about this?
