Looking to turn my dad's Monument Valley photo into a beautiful oil painting ($15 tip)
My dad took this photo while camping in Monument Valley with his wife and Airstream. It's one of if not the favorite photos from their travels. I'd love to surprise him with a piece of artwork for his birthday.
The first photo is the one I'd like to use but it's little unclear and dark. The 3 following it are the style/detail I had in mind.
I'm picturing something that feels like a traditional painting or a piece you'd see in a western gallery. I really like expressive brushwork and texture, but I'm open to your artistic interpretation. The main things I'd love to preserve are the feeling of the original photo, the dramatic landscape, and the Airstream that makes it so personal.
The final image would ideally be high enough resolution for a 16×20 print.
