Questions about an art piece

I was recently gifted a rather incredible piece of art. I was hoping to learn more about it or be pointed in the right direction of where to find out more.
A little about it- other than the artists markings on the back, there is no plaque or anything else.
It weights 30-40 lbs. I believe it’s marble. Wondering if anyone could tell me who is carved here, or if you recognize the artists signature, I’d love to know more!

Indian Market Sante Fe August 2026

Does anyone know who the artist is that made this and where they are located at the Market? I saw this on the best of show day and sadly did not note the artist name.

Does anyone recognize this?

I’ve had this coaster on my desk for the last fifteen years or so. It’s getting a little worn and I’d like to find out more about the artist and where it came from. It looks like the art on the cover of the old pulp western novels I used to read as a kid. Any help is appreciated. Thank very much.

Two notable Frederic Remington chromolithographs (1901) including original portfolio sold at auction at the beginning of August. Reported by Rare Book Hub.

Two (2) Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909) chromolithographs, "Old Ramon" and "A Cheyenne Buck," from the portfolio "A Bunch of Buckskins." Published by Robert Howard Russell, with printed copyright information in the lower left corners (1901).

Housed as issued in the original portfolio case with printed title label and fabric ties and includes Introductory Note by Owen Wister.

Each Sheet: 20 in. H x 15 in. W. Introductory Note: 25 in. H. x 19 1/2 in. W. Portfolio: 26 3/8 in. H x 20 in. W x 1/4 in. D. 1901.

Note: "A Bunch of Buckskins," was a portfolio that originally contained eight (8) lithographic images of Western subjects, was regarded as Frederic Remington’s most successful print series. It was published in 1901 by frequent Remington collaborator R.H. Russell. (The original pastels from the portfolio were included in the artist’s first solo gallery exhibition in New York in December 1901).

This pair of chromoliths sold at Chase Antique Auctions on August 1-2 for $984, somewhat lower than the house low estimate of $1,600.

The moment I saw this tree, I knew I had to paint it. Walking away wasn’t an option. Here’s the result.

CM Russell pig drawing

This is supposedly a CM Russell drawing that my dad has was inherited from his mother, my grandmother. This was also purchased at an auction in Great Falls, Montana. There’s no signature on it, which is unfortunate. The rumor is he might’ve done this drawing to maybe pay a bar tab at the mint in Great Falls who knows if that’s true. If anyone has any information on this piece of work from CM Russell, that would be great. I got a lot of help from my last question of a CM Russell. Thank you so much for your help everyone.
