Amity Police Force
I’ve seen this movie a million times, am I understanding properly that Amity island only has TWO POLICE OFFICERS!?
I think chief says they were waiting for deputies, but they’re not there till 4th of July. And then you see people pouring in to the island as the days roll on.
I’m mostly joking but I always just thought it was funny and maybe a sign of the times. I grew up in Jersey and I can’t image going to a destination beach having like 7 cops 😂 . I think they have 2 every block these days on the boardwalk and I couldn’t imagine the bedlam that would ensue without them.
Here’s to swimmin’ with bow legged women
Last DUI I made bail so fast my soup was still warm when I got home !
Jersey Blueberry babes
Been away for a few days and came back to a big ole bush of these babies! Too bad it’s so hard🥵
Stay safe in your gardens if you’re in this heat wave, friends!
One votes goin up the other votes goin down, and this shippost’s sayin’, “whata ya want from me.”
Beautiful Rockaway River, frankly I’m depressed and ashamed
I wanna go tomorrow and fish before work and tip the toilet over and use it as a chair to catch the other toilet.**
Live in Morris county and been a fisherman my entire life. In Dover in the Rockaway/Dover boarder is this little stretch of the Rockaway river.
What’s also important is that this is the Lakeland Bud Terminal parking lot. So no idea if this is private property or the towns, but it’s so out of control.
Every time I’ve been fishing in this area (years) I always leave with a bag of garbage. No matter how much we collect, it just ends up worse every time. Seems like people just dump whatever wherever they want and nobody really does a thing about it. If it was private property or the towns, you’d think at least there would be no dumping or lot monitored by camera signs.
Anybody have advice? We reported it today and the EPA is sending out someone to look and remove the toilets, but it’s just frustrating. These towns piss insane amounts of money away on worthless crap all the time, and things like this just get ignored. And if it’s the bus companies responsibility to take care of their lot and property pollution, I wonder if repeated attempts will get them to do anything more than the bare minimum.
Good Afternoon All,
I was hoping to get some advice from this sub. I'm a 41 year old small business owner. My brother and I own a small shop with 1 other employee. Its a S corp and my savings are all over the place.
Currently I have 68k in a personal roth IRA and around 560k in a plain old Schwab brokerage account (i know not the best place). I started investing about 6 years ago but don't know very much about 401k's or other forms of retirements accounts other than the ROTH I have, which i suspect I should have just went with a traditional because my earnings after I retire will be nothing really.
married and I take home about 105k a year and wife makes maybe 30k. One 6 year old daughter if that information helps at all.
I was curious if anybody else has had this type of issue where the money is just not in the right place, and if there is a way to get it there? Or is it too late and I'm just stuck. I was looking into opening a Traditional IRA as well because I believe my wife and I can each have an IRA, but with the yearly limits i was wondering if there was a better way to go.
But like i said, im not too savy and I know many here are, was hoping for some help and opinions. Thanks!
I feel like when Greg left, Greg LEFT. and Joan seems like she might get a bit vindictive after all of that. I have a feeling she woulda just said to hell with it, and say its not his son, but ya never know. In the end she was so rich it didn't matter.
