Hello. I wanted some advice. Recently my heart has been hurting when two of my old men passed away. Nibbler and Moose. It hit really hard for me with Moose especially because we would sleep together every night. I'm struggling a lot with their death because I got them at the same time and they are my first rats. I had 5 and now I have 3. They lived a long life.

Here is the question. Fries is another elderly rat who was a main part of their group. I have 2 young bucks that live with them but the 2 young ones were kind of their own group and moose fries and nibbler were another. Fries has seemed really depressed lately. I spend as much time with him as I can but he just looks so sad all of the time. I want to get him a friend but I still live with my parents and they have absolutely forbidden me from getting more rats. I've tried convincing them but they told me absolutely not. I need help knowing how to make Mr Fries happy. What can I do? I don't want him to be sad. I'm grieving too and I don't want him to feel alone.
