Hopefully you guys can help me out, I’m honestly completely lost on this strange issue that I haven’t been able to figure out on my 1981 924 Turbo (same as early 944)

As the title says, the intermittent wiper setting doesn’t work at all. Both continues wiper settings do work, and when switched off the wipers park themselves properly. Also when pulling the wiper stalk for the washer function, the washer sprays and the wipers turns on for one full sweep and park themselves properly.

What I have already done/checked:

Replaced the intermittent wiper relay.

Disassembled the wiper stalk and cleaned all the contacts. Used a multimeter to verify continuity and each setting on the stalk corresponds to a pin, so I assume the stalk works.

Took the wiper motor apart and cleaned all the sliding contacts inside and verified continuity across them to their corresponding wires.

I am honestly out of ideas what this issue could possibly be. Last thing it could be is a broken wire or a bad ground, but I cant find the proper schematics for my car anywhere (EU model, 1981)

I hope someone could help me figure this out!

Hi all, I am in need of some advice on the purchase of a Porsche 924 Turbo, more specifically, what is the car worth that I’m looking to buy.

I recently took a look at a Porsche 924 Turbo for sale near me. It’s an early 1981 model year, the vin number suggests its a series 2 model. Car is for sale in a European country.

**The good:**

The car is basically completely rust free. The underside has never been sealed and is still completely silver (the cars original colour). The trunk floor, wheel wells, doors, sills, all completely rust free.

Interior is in pretty decent condition. Pretty much no tears or scratches. Only a collapsed passenger seat and some minor defects. Dashboard is original and shows no tearing.

Car starts, drives and shifts properly. I don’t feel or hear anything wrong with the car, seems solid.

**The bad:**

The car has been repainted in the past, and badly. The paint shows a ton of bad spots, like it is dissolving under the clear coat. Nothing is peeling of yet, but it looks terrible.

The car does not have any history. No service records, no owners history, no mileage history. Only thing knows is that it has been imported fairly recently.

Other than those issues, it just has some old car quirks. Rear hatch is starting to delaminate at the top, rear wiper not working, etc.

I have access to all the tools, services and expertise needed to restore this car. My only question is, what is something like this worth in the condition it is in now?
