23[F4R] Online/Illinois Just a gremlin looking to socialize with other gremlins

Hello! I hope you are having a lovely whatever time of day it happens to be for you. I'm searching the vast web for people I can chat with and submerge myself into when the surface of every day life rises a little too high. Okay real talk—I'm a socially anxious gal who enjoys talking to people, but tends to get scared whether it's online or in person. The amount of times I've been drunk and can socialize fine enough to the point where people want to be my friend, but then I get sober and I can't get the balls to talk to them? TOO MANY. I don't have much of that problem when it comes to online, but hey here's to exposure therapy eh?
Anyways, I love goofing around, sharing a good laugh, or an introspective thought with another person (yeah preferably you're a person, my cat has occupied the non-human spot for companionship). My current (and let's be honest) main obsession right now is defending my favorite fictional serial killer: John Kramer. I am absolutely in love with the SAW franchise, but surprisingly not that much of an actual horror girlie. I also enjoy playing video games, mostly RPGs, The Sims, and a specific visual novel called Our Life: Beginning and Always. I also enjoy a lot of coming of age shows and movies, the type of media that hits your heartstrings and makes you go "shit...." on the flip side I love romance movies/tv shows and my all time favorite is Bones. I've been watching it since I was a kid and will be watching it until I'm senile then dead.
I tend to fixate on things and have specific restricted interests, but I'm always willing to go out of my comfort zone for those I care about when they want to share something they enjoy with me. Although I haven't watched much in a while, I do have a love for anime, typically shojo based ones (romance special interests hits hard there).
When I'm not nerding out over the previous things, I'm being passionate about writing (currently fantasizing about being passionate about writing, writer's block is a bitch). I love writing poems, fan fiction (who said that?), and one day aspire to be a romance writer (go figure). Oh well, I can't think of what else you'd want to know so maybe just ask so we can get to know each other :>
