Thank you, Everyone!

I just wanted to come in here and say thank you to everyone who posted and commented in here. For anyone who went through the studying and certification process and came back here with advice, it helps!!

I took the CAPM certification yesterday and I passed. AT in all domains 😄

I’ve seen some slightly differing opinions on the difficulty of the actual exam, compared to practice questions, in my opinion, the actual exam was easier than the practice sets I was doing.

I started with the Udemy Couse, I did the Landini practice questions (of which I didn’t score the best), if there were concepts that were difficult to grasp I usually went to PM Aspriant on YouTube (lots of dumbing down)and I spent the last few weeks of studying doing practice questions from Yassine Tounsi. I felt as if these were actually the closest in formatting and wording compared to the real exam.

Just a couple of small notes for those who had as much anxiety as I did, there isn’t as much math as you think there are, there aren’t any match the word with the definition type of questions, and my exam had comic strips that appeared multiple times, but with different questions about the same scenario.

Keep studying hard, keep everything fresh in your mind, and I promise you you can pass. Good luck!

My dog is territorial of me -but only with other dogs.

I could really use some advice on discouraging reactive behavior with other dogs. 8 y/o Australian Cattle Dog.

My dog Ranger shows tendencies of being territorial of me, but only when other dogs are present. If we are on a walk and clearly passing by a dog and the owner he’s fine. If a human approaches me? He’s fine. If he’s at a distance from me at the dog park? Believe it or not, he’s fine. He actually likes playing with other dogs. It’s only when I’m standing or sitting still, and a dog approaches that he may lunge at the dog.

To be clear, he’s never actually attacked another dog. But of course it is threatening to lunge and other dog owners tend not to like that 😬 the only thing I can think of to do in the moment is to hold him by his harness and assure him that he’s fine.

I would like to get to a point where I don’t have to worry about him lunging at another dog just because it’s nearby. Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix this behavior?
