So apparently, it has been two weeks since I have released my track, Mallu Malayali, and yeah, I still haven’t received any kind of status or any kind of information regarding the payout or revenue or something like I have no idea about it, so you should be within how many days does the revenue statements rollout and till when do we get paid? So apparently, after weeks, my track is finally dropped, but there is an issue. There is few artist whose name conflicts with my artist name and yeah, the worst happened and my track has actually snuck into their artist profile partially, but not fully like for Amazon Music. It’s been like that and also few are the JioSaavn and all that, but in Spotify, it’s correct and in Apple Music also it is correct, but I can’t actually claim my artist profile right now and also what should I do about the other platforms like most probably, it will be sent to some other artist under my same name so what can I do about that? Can I ask the help from CDB support or something, can you help me with this?
Can i cancel a track from cdbaby which is in inspection and not yet live? I want to get the refund too
My release is ruined by some changes requested by CdBaby and ive changed the artwork to make it resubmit for distribution. It was a small spelling change nothing else. I already waited for more than 10 days and i cant anymore 😭😭😭. Soo what does this really mean ? Should i wait all along or will it be quick since it was a small change
So I got a mail from CD baby, asking me to make a small change in the Artwork and the Met data where I have given first name in the Artwork and full name in the metadata and they’re asking me to change this ASAP, so then they can send it to the reinspection. Does it mean that it will take much longer day to once again inspect this or will I be pushed back to the queue, I am stressed, man.
So ive submitted my track on may 22 7:30 pm and today it is may 30 and still it is in inspection queue and im already way past the deadline of my release. Im confused about what to do now should i pull it back? Ahhhh its already 8 days
