Limping corgi
I have a corgi mini Aussie mix. He seems mostly corgi. He is five years old. Years ago he started limping a lot. I took him to the vet who sent us to an orthopedic doctor. They could not find anything wrong with him in x-rays. They put him on steroids and he eventually stopped limping. Now he is limping again on and off. He will get better and then start limping again. Today he ran really and started limping. He doesn’t seem like he’s in a lot of pain. He doesn’t cry. He just won’t stand on the foot. I try and feel but it feels exactly the same as the other leg. He doesn’t like when I hyperextended it. I started him on two supplements that he used to be on, Movoflex and Cosequin. He’s been on the mobile flex for about a month, which is the amount of time he’s been limping on and off. I started the cosequin maybe a week ago. The reason I haven’t taken him to the vet yet is because it’s so on and off. I’m usually one to rush him to the vet when the smallest thing happens, so I’m really stressed out over this. Before I end up taking him has anybody ever had this happen and is there anything you were able to do to fix it on your own? I’m not opposed to going to the vet, I just want to see if it’s worth it or not considering it it’s on and off.
