Sex with flex disc

Purchased both the disposable and reusable flex disc because I started breakthrough bleeding once again and my partner was spending a few days with me.

I mentioned the disc to my partner and he was very interested in it so we tried 2 positions and he said he felt nothing and neither did I , which was great I did check to make sure it was still sitting correctly and it was so that was perfect.

So the next day , I put it in while I was in the shower and then of course one thing led to another. He didn’t know I had it in but I certainly could not feel it and I don’t think he could other. I kind of now feel a lot better about sex and not on edge like I use to be because my periods are so unpredictable and even though he’s fine having sex on my period I’m not so I feel like this is what will make me feel comfortable going forward.

Haven’t tried on my actual period yet but I’m kind of nervous because some people said it shifts and then will leak all the blood out

Breakthrough bleeding for 6 months

Around October I got back with my partner did the do and had horrible pain in my uterus for weeks. It eventually went away with some pelvic exercises and i honestly forgot all about it.

Then every month since then I have had 2 periods a month. In November I thought maybe it was normal but then it kept happening now it’s May and I’m on my period again even though I had one a week and a half ago. Currently on the 28day mini pill.

I got it to regulate my periods because there was a point where Every-time I had sex I would bleed so bad. It worked for a year and a half now of a sudden it feels like I’m always spotting constantly and then my period starts on Thursdays and last until Sunday. I don’t have any cramps or anything it just appears out the blue so I never expect it.

I have an ultrasound today but what other BC OPTIONS did you guys use to actually regulate the bleeding. I’m scared of the IUD because I heard that some folks have non Stop bleeding

Advice on 2 pills for breakthrough bleeding ??

I have been having two periods a month!!! 3-4 days

While the daily birth control pill initially helped regulate my cycle, my bleeding has suddenly occurred every 11 days since October. I just finished a period a week and a half ago and seen spotting yesterday. I thought it was due to me taking boric acid or doing the do but I haven’t done neither of those. My apple health now shows 2 periods every month and the predications have been correct since January 😔

While I am glad my recent check up ruled out fibroids, this current pill is far too inconsistent for me, and bleeding twice a month is causing me significant stress.I would like to switch to a combination pill that includes a placebo week, with the goal of starting it for my June cycle.

I have read about short term adjustments to stop breakthrough bleeding such as temporarily doubling up on pills or taking a short break but I wanted to ask if that helped anyone??? I took two pills yesterday one at 10:30am and one at around 10 and within 2-3 hours I didn’t see any pink it’s the next day and nothing… is it ok if I just do this for a couple days since I already had a period a week and a half ago this is driving me insane. I think I’ll do it again today one at 10 and one at 5 🙈 I sent a message to my doctor and asked if I could be switched to something else asap!! I don’t even know why I didn’t take the combo pill. I also did the gelatin hack with ibuprofen because I was desperate so idk if the double dose stopped it or the gelatin ( I know I shouldn’t be doing that but…)
