Frequent "Lesser" Psychic Events?

Hello all! :)

Experiencer here living in the new world since 2021. I've included some of my previously created posts at the bottom if you're curious to read some of my other experiences.

Outside of the more obvious & impactful paranormal experiences and major psychic events, I also keep experiencing "minor" psychic events on a regular basis. They are "easier to write off" (can be more easily just brushed off as coincidence and confirmation bias) compared to the way more overt major psychic or other paranormal events I've experienced, but they are still funny in the moment and I do take note of them.

When you've had the more unexplainable events that have shifted you into becoming someone that 100% KNOWS these things are real, you don't brush these things off as easily as someone who hasn't had any of those notable experiences.

For example my most recent one: my sister's dog has had puppies, and as soon as I asked myself "what would she be naming them?" in response the name Diego jumped into my mind instantly and with that came a very strong knowing attached to it - like very strong confidence that this was the right answer for some reason. This was a name I had never thought about and considered before. It's also a Spanish (?) name and we're British, so again quite random and out of the blue for me to just think of, and for her to choose.

Then a few days later my niece was round and we were talking about the puppies and the first name she mentions that my sister wanted to call the boy was Diego, the same as the thought I received. I (very nearly) jumped out of my seat saying "I KNEW IT!!!!" which made my niece jump lol.

Another type of recent event - out of the blue I hadn't thought about this person in years (even forgot they existed - ADHD mixed with C-PTSD brain fog/very bad memory/dissociative amnesia).

This was a guy who was in the same department as me when I used to work at the same university I was studying at during my placement year back in 2017.

Anyways he came to mind very out of the blue, and then a few hours later that same guy messaged me asking to match with me on Hinge (a dating app) lol.

Also just generally many of these events (telephone telepathy) where someone pops into my mind and then seconds later they send me a message. Especially when I'm busy focusing on something else and then the thought barges in out of the blue and from seemingly nowhere.

Another event - I was standing next to my mum as she was sat down at the kitchen table and I was intensely focused reading something complex and experiencer related on reddit that was very long, and then out of the blue a song barged into my mind (very annoyingly) making me lose track of what I was reading.

2 seconds later my mum started singing that exact same song, and at the exact same part of the song I had heard in my head too.

There's way more (and also more mind-blowing instances) but yeah I just find these smaller events to be interesting and funny.

If these could be legit psychic happenings do you think these could be given to me from spirit/NHI or am I generally just tapping into something and it's no other beings passing these things onto me?

The legit psychic things seem to come to me intrusively and unexpectedly - as in I I'm just going about my day as normal daydreaming zoning out or actively thinking about something, or neither of those, and then it comes in and overwrites/completely derails what I was thinking about, and they have no relevance to what I was originally thinking about either. Like I was just airdropped information. This seems to be the same with visions, but in this post I have been speaking of thoughts specifically.

Anyone else get these frequently?

Not relevant to this post but if you're interested feel free to read some of my past experiences in a few of my older posts here:

Anyone else watched the new spiderman film? (spoilers) - experiencer characters in fiction

Bit of a random vent/stream of consciousness style post but I felt compelled to create it.

I just got back from watching the new spiderman film (spoilers ahead) and I was wondering if any other experiencers had any of the same feelings I had when watching it? Just thought I'd spitball my thoughts, maybe someone else felt the same as me - what I'm saying below relates to any film with experiencers in it.

I touched on this briefly in my previous post, but basically I (and I'm sure many of you here) can't watch any film now (or any other form of media) without viewing it through an experiencer lens.

So... What does this mean?

Well, one major aspect is that you see everything with a whole new set of eyes (like with my Bloodborne insight comparison I made on my previous post I linked above), and you wonder if the writers for these films/games etc are also experiencers in some way with the way they seem to cover feelings that come up for experiencers.

I'm sure many of you are aware that there are many many many different kinds of films that cover experiencer dynamics, but the large majority of the time it's portrayed through a horror lens of some sort, and sometimes experiencer dynamics which at times can be very accurate to your own lived experience.

Before going in to watch this film I hadn't seen any trailers or anything, and so I didn't realise that the film would be focused on Jean Grey (who was played by Sadie Sink - the girl from stranger things, which is also about psychics).

Now the last time I saw Jean Grey was in the old X-Men films when I was much younger (before I "became" an experiencer), and for those that don't know Jean Grey/Phoenix is a master psychic/telepath and she is widely considered one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe.

In this new spiderman film Jean uses her psychic abilities to jump from person to person briefly taking control of their bodies and also being able to view their memories.

I'm not saying experiencers can do that but the ability to experience being someone else is very much displayed frequently in aspects of the life review process of near death experiences. And just in general the psychic elements relate to knowing things about others, just in a much less dramatic sense that what was displayed on screen.

A lot of the themes in the film were speaking about how Jean and Spiderman (so, all the people with powers) are forced to live lonely lives. There is an aspect of having the powers that acts as a permanent barrier that disconnects them from the rest of society, and especially their closest loved ones. I'm sure many of you can relate to that side of things.

There was also plenty of other dialogue that talked about similar things relating to those with "powers" (whenever powers are discussed, especially of a psychic nature I always just think of experiencers).

It just got me thinking whilst I was sat there in the cinema (as well as whenever psychics or other experiencer dynamics are brought up in films): "wow if only people realised that psychics like Jean are real, there is literally someone who relates to her in the audience, potentially multiple" (but to a lesser degree, naturally cinema exaggerates things - the character of Jean is probably more similar to NHI/Spirit in terms of their psychic capability?)

I was thinking "this film is displaying some aspects of experiencer life and the majority of people around me are just thinking that psychics aren't real and all of this is just fantasy" - to be real with you I'm a heavy feeler (as I'm sure many of you are), and whenever I get these thoughts they just make me sad and fill me with a sense of loneliness and despair, much like the characters were feeling in the film with the way their powers/lived experience of having said powers had made them so disconnected from others around them (there was also dialogue based around this).

I don't know, like I said, I can't watch films now without seeing it through the experiencer lens. There was more I wanted to talk about in relation to the film and experiencer dynamics but I've already forgot (I have really bad memory).

I don't know why I'm making this post. I guess just so that hopefully someone reading can relate to how great it is seeing experiencer characters in films but also how at the same time it's sad because it's just acknowledged as being fiction instead of people's lived experiences.

I just wish these things were acknowledged as being real already to the masses. It causes a ton of suffering for so many that this is denied and placed only as something in fiction. It makes me sad thinking that I could have been the only one in the audience earlier on who was seeing the same things I was seeing, and knowing that there were aspects to this film (and many other films) that are actually based in reality.

On a much more positive note, there is a much greater emotional connection that takes place between the experiencer and the experiencer within the screen. And there is much talk to be had about how there is a lot of positive experiencer elements in film. And also how the heroes journey itself also relates to the experiencer journey of awakening to the greater reality (with the heroes journey also bring known as the Monomyth which goes back thousands of years - see the work of Joseph Campbell such as his hero with a thousand faces book). I remember aspects of the dialogue in this film that was also uplifting experiencers who have powers, I just wish I could quote the lines directly but I've already forgot (damn memory!)

Is there any experiencer character in any form of media that you really connect to? As if you were that person on the screen, in the video game etc?

To end this rambling post (that hopefully somebody related to some aspect to) I'll just end it with the iconic spiderman line:

"With great power, comes great responsibility."

Much love to you all, stay safe out there, and treat yourself and eachother with kindness and grace. 💛

UPDATE: Saw this post just now, this film also fit pretty well for neurodivergent people and it's interesting to see it resonate for others in multiple ways (but I was thinking more autism for the sensory overload part).

Experiencers that are also gamers - are there any games that made you feel seen/validated?

Just a heads up but there are some spoilers for the games I've listed below, and it's also worth assuming that if people share their own games in the comments there will likely be spoilers in those too, so don't read too far into each section/comment if you want to play them.

Hello I hope you're taking care of yourself! 💛

As someone that is a passionate life-long gamer, as well as someone whose experiences primarily picked up after 2021, these 3 below games I'll be mentioning instantly came to mind when thinking about the question in the title of this post.

These games illustrate aspects/dynamics of my experiences, as well as the experience of being an experiencer. The concepts within these games I felt seen/validated by.

I think that video games as a experiential & creative storytelling medium offer something even more powerful than what films are able to provide, and that is that video games are able to place you directly in the shoes of someone as the player and you get to experience things through them even more than so films can possibly convey through various game mechanics. It's just a whole other level of immersion.

People seem to become way more attached to video games (atleast from what I've personally seen/experienced) than films. The emotional impact seems to be greater overall, atleast from personal experience but I may be biased.

There are also many experiencer video game creators, storytellers, musicians etc that put their heart and soul into their creations and imbue experiencer themes into them. It would be cool to see a development team of experiencers come together to create their own game which touches on what they've experienced and are open about it. Something with a huge focus on telling the story of an experiencer (I know there are many films of many different types that already do this or touch of aspects of anomalous experience).

Bloodborne:

My #1 game of all-time is Bloodborne - which is a gothic, victorian-era dark horror action RPG created by the studio FromSoftware (these are the people that also made highly praised and notoriously difficult games such as the Dark Souls series, Demon's Souls, Sekiro, Armoured Core series, as well as their most recent and highly successful game Elden Ring which they created with the help of the writer behind the Game of Thrones series George R.R. Martin).

Moving past my FromSoftware glazing (lol) but basically in Bloodborne there is a game mechanic called insight, and after you have collected enough insight points things that were previously occulted/hidden within the game world now become visible to you.

Now in Bloodborne's case this involves things such as giant tentacled cosmic horrors with 30 eyes hanging off the side of buildings (which were there all along) as well as other things, and the game is revealed to be more alien than it was originally letting on as the game progresses narratively too (before this it's focus is more around beasts and the "more grounded/earthly/primal" instead of the weird & otherworldly).

To me this game mechanic (as well as the game itself as a whole) largely illustrates the themes and the process of ontological shock - the idea that once you have experienced these things it creates a fundamental shift in yourself and your views/understanding of the world.

The game itself even states that insight (having an awareness of the greater reality - having the senses to perceive things beyond perceptual barriers) has driven some people mad (shown in the madman's knowledge item description which increases your insight level), and how the truth is a tough weight to carry. That is, the weight living in a world that is far stranger than you initially thought, and one in which many people have not yet caught up to what we know through direct experience.

I played this game before becoming an experiencer and now with this aspect of it I see it with new eyes.

Voices of the Void:

Voices of the Void (the image I've attached to this post) is another horror game. It's a much smaller indie game that is still in development that's in its free pre-release alpha phase and it's created by a team of just a few people (like 3-5 max I think?). It is primarily a sandbox job-simulator with a day-night cycle and it has you working in an isolated radio observatory in the Swiss mountains where you detect and record radio signals from space, as well as manage and decorate your base. You also have to frequently leave your base to explore the surrounding areas, repair radio towers and power generators etc.

The game has hundreds(?) of random occurrences. It's a game that does random encounters very well - it always has you on edge when you're playing, very much the paranoia and low level dread/anxiety of "oh I wonder what's going to happen" - and often times nothing actually happens so you get stuck in a state of chronic suspense, or atleast I did playing through it. There are also many funny ones too.

Within the game very very slowly you start experiencing much greater and absurder paranormal events. In my case (irl) my experiences started off smaller and easier to brush off, and then as I started to accept the possibility of what was going on these events became more overt with the types of paranormal interactions that took place. What started with synchronicity moved onto more overt psychic events and physical paranormal events from seemingly invisible intelligences.

Often times when I was experiencing these paranormal events in the game (including the alien themed ones, but typically it's more things that are harder to grasp such as things moving by themselves, seeing orbs of light etc) my natural response was actually the same as my irl response, which is to often times to laugh/be in surprise/shock. Typically in the moment I reach acceptance pretty quickly and say like "well that just happened".

The game itself has captured that "well these things are happening but I have a job to do, I'm going to just continue going about my day" vibe exceptionally well. I've read comments on YouTube about this game and they also illustrate this, and so after this I realised that the game does a very good job of illustrating the weirdness involved with being an experiencer in day-to-day life and of conveying that feeling to the people playing the game.

To give an example I saw this comment from the below linked video that has a ton of likes and states: "Love how the eldritch horror slowly becomes mundane to the point where something that defies reality happens, you spend like 2-5 seconds processing if its a threat or not before going "right then..." and getting back to grabbing those line codes from the dishes because the boss won't get off your back even if you've sent proof of what's happening up there."

(game is still in development as mentioned, I'm looking forward to the eventual full release)

The Persona Series:

A worthy and brief addition to this list that I think is worth highlighting is the Persona series (which is not a horror game, something a bit different to this list).

Persona is a Japanese turn-based combat RPG series (similar to the older Final Fantasy games, which I also love as a series) with life-simulation elements that massively references and takes inspiration from the work of the mystic psychologist & experiencer Carl Jung.

Persona manages to take the abstract concepts of analytical psychology and put them into entertaining, knowledgeable forms. The games largely explore themes of the paranormal and the occult, gods & archetypes, tarot (the major arcana, which are expressed by characters you can hang out with in the game to unlock new abilities), the collective unconscious etc.

Whilst the narrative differs in each game the main core of the series is based around the shadow & shadow work, as well individuation and awakening of the characters.

https://www.reddit.com/r/PERSoNA/s/4eJ632jq0j

I'm currently playing through Persona 5 again for the second time (but playing the updated version for the first time, which is called Persona 5 Royal) and I'm really enjoying seeing these experiencer themes being mentioned.

Again I played this game before becoming an experiencer (like with Bloodborne) and now with these themes I relate to it and see it with new eyes. It's great seeing these themes portrayed so successfully in such a popular series.

Also even though Persona isn't a horror series (it's more supernatural psychological thriller/mystery) the games do have dark/creepy/horrifying moments thematically. The new game Persona 6 that's just been teased seems to be spooky and leaning more heavily into the occult which is a return to the earlier games.

P.S. Persona has some of the most catchy and funky music in gaming, would highly recommend listening. Just a few of countless others:

There are likely others that I felt very validated by that are not coming to mind currently, but yeah hopefully I made my point. I really hope to see more games created by experiencers going forward. UPDATE: I have played multiple games where psychic is a class/ability so I guess there's also that haha. And ofcourse theres many games that focus on spiritual & paranormal themes in general.

Is there any games that come to mind for you that validate you or discuss experiencer dynamics/events? (that closely mirror your own?) - or that left a lasting emotional impression on you?

Also are there any of those games that aren't horror games but still illustrate your feelings around living as an experiencer? Especially if there is a focus on that narratively speaking. When it comes to anomalous events and experiencer characters 90% of the time it's always done through a horror lens, so it's nice to see something different.

As far as what experiencer dynamics entail, well that can include things such as: NHI Contact, HICE/CE5, Abductions, Metaphysical Experiences, Telepathic, Psionic, OBEs NDEs STEs, Mediumship, Astral Projection, Precognition, etc.

I asked to receive advice for what to make a post on about and this topic was the first thing that came to mind, so hopefully it resonates with some of you. I do enjoy talking about video games and so it's a fun topic for me personally, especially if it involves direct or adjacent experiencer elements such as these.

I look forward to reading your comments! I hope to add some of them to my list of games to play in the future. :) 💛

Hyperphantasia - very vivid minds eye imagery

Hello all! I hope you're all taking care of yourselves this day. 💛

Recently I've seen multiple posts on here about aphantasia (the lack of minds eye imagery) but I've not seen any posts on the opposite which is what I have: hyperphantasia (very vivid minds eye imagery). And so it made me curious and thought I'd create my own post.

This graphic gives an example of hyperphantasia, but if you search online the aphantasia/hyperphantasia test is also more often shown by the apple visualisation test.

https://youtu.be/Z_gV1hEqlA8?is=Z5kzGr-nFIOsrgQI

When it comes to my minds eye imagery I personally see things even clearer with my eyes open instead of eyes closed.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hyperphantasia/s/GC6Z0SzvZm

https://www.reddit.com/r/hyperphantasia/s/kknihZFVVd

Eyes open is also how I receive my psychic/clairvoyant visions most naturally when I'm going about my day.

Linking this comment here of mine because I think it's important to note when it comes to receiving psychic information using your imaginative faculties:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/i5FPTbathy

When it comes to visualising with my eyes open I can rotate the apple, take a chunk out of it to see the juicier insides, feel it with an inner touch sense, "bite into it" and hear the crunch sound, smell it and taste it, see light reflecting off it, transform it etc. Also place the apple anywhere I want, but typically I default to seeing it on my kitchens countertop.

It's basically like having access to your own private cinema/simulations inside your own mind.

I'm a creative and I create 3D animations and work with 3D software in general and it also helps massively with that because I can plan out and see all the shots in my head before I create them physically. I can spend hours in a day working entirely in my minds eye alone constructing and deconstructing various scenes, trying out new things (much quicker than doing it physically).

I also likely have very high masking Autism + ADHD (in the process of being assessed, the medical professionals I've spoken too said it's very likely I have both based on their observations and also multiple of my screener test scores). I know a lot of people say that most people with Autism have the opposite to what I have (aphantasia) so thought I'd add that in. Any autistic people here with hyperphantasia? And if you do experience that do you also have ADHD?

I want to highlight this comment of someone with aphantasia but who does still receive clairvoyant imagery which I found very interesting:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/vkAg0VOwpO

For those of you with very vivid minds eye imagery how do you feel it impacts your own anomalous/paranormal/psychic/contact experiences of various kinds? (if it even has an impact at all?)

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Here's some posts covering aphantasia on r/Experiencers:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/wxaduQhOck

https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/STuRIgPztJ

There are also many posts across other subreddits covering this topic too, with r/aphantasia and r/hyperphantasia subreddits being the main ones.

Looks like there may be ways to strengthen minds eye imagery if you experience a lack of it?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/P7rKm8Jcyr

When I first discovered this like 1-2 years ago I spent days reading about peoples experiences (or lack of experiences) with this because I found it so fascinating how I went all my life assuming everyone else experienced this exactly as I do, especially with this being so close and absolutely fundamental to how I experience everyday life. I'm constantly seeing things whilst I think about things. When I'm doing this the visuals are often times automatically accompany whatever I think about.

I guess it's like the differences in how some people have very complex vivid dreams with twisting storylines every night that they remember (like mine - I've also been getting a lot of music that doesn't exist irl) VS those that don't have/remember their dreams.

And it seems that there's even a lot of difference in people with aphantasia - some have visual dreams and some don't. And some people with hyperphantasia also don't remember their dreams. It's all very confusing and still a lot of unknowns.

I know that many people with aphantasia (lack of imagery) said that back in school they always thought people were joking when the teacher would get people to visualise a beach in their head for example - they just thought everyone was sitting there with their eyes closed not seeing anything, when in actuality some were.

P.S. there's also a version of this but for people who don't have internal thoughts/monologues - this was very shocking for me to realise, possibly even more so than minds eye imagery (and others having a lack of that) because my head is always full of thoughts yapping all day about everything lol - I can't even imagine how quiet that must be to not have that.

Isn't it funny how we take core aspects of human experience for granted assuming everyone else is like us?

We are all learning more about eachother and how diverse life and experience is and I think that's so fun and beautiful. We each have different strengths and abilities that come natural to us that we can lean into.

This also applies to how people are learning more about Experiencers and how this is another core aspect to human life that is largely misunderstood, denied or just generally unknown by the majority of people.

Just like people deny that the experiencer phenomena is real, so do people deny that people have minds eye imagery lol (my reply to this guy on an old post):

https://www.reddit.com/r/infp/s/txsgvvgngE

To learn more about ourselves and others - coming to know and understand these different ways of connecting to our "higher powers" (not all of which involves minds eye imagery - it is unique for each person) - is to truly move beyond what confines us.

It is to open ourselves up to the diversity of life and embrace that, in turn evolving as a species. Knowledge is power after all - with self-knowledge being the most important knowledge of all.

The stigma is forcing many medical professionals & scientists to keep quiet about their experiences - my recent experience with this

TL;DR: Shared my experiences with two senior/upper management medical professionals. They then shared some of their own experiences with me (which I wasn't expecting but I appreciated as it helped to validate what I'm going through).

I recently had an in-person meeting that was over 2 hours long with multiple mental health professionals who are in senior/management roles (and had been in those positions for many years, they looked to be in their late 40s/50s atleast), and at the very end I touched on the fact that I was an experiencer (without referencing that term), and I briefly shared some of my experiences.

This meeting took place sitting on a field not far from my house & first school I went to when I was a kid.

Before this meeting on the field I'd had a 1+ hour long phone call where I talked to one of these people, and he disclosed to me that he had diagnosed ADHD. The other person I was talking to on the field told me she had dyslexia, and so both of them were neurodivergent.

I also stated on this phone call that I think I'm very likely neurodivergent too and was wanting to get assessed for Autism & ADHD. He did a few quick tests, and from the assessment results and from observing my behaviours he highly encouraged me to get assessed for them.

And in that prior 1 hour phone call, towards the end of it (with a ton of anxiety and hesitation) I brought up to him that I was having these experiences and had been for a number of years now, and he offered some kind and reassuring words for me.

My memory is hazy, I wish I'd wrote this interaction down when it was fresh in my mind but I was already exhausted after that interaction, but it went roughly like this:

Towards the end of the meeting on the field I felt a sudden push to bring up my experiences again when they were asking if there's anything else I'd like to discuss before parting.

At first I couldn't get my words out, and just stated "I was unsure whether to bring this up as its quite an uncomfortable subject" and then I froze and hesitated again and was about to back out, but then I looked towards the ADHD guy and luckily he looked at me and instantly knew what I was referencing to (because of our previous phone call). I then nodded to him and he looks over to the other lady and states "he says he's been having spiritual experiences" (or something along those lines).

(Slightly off-topic: I'm gay and I always say coming out as an experiencer has been harder than coming out as gay to people in general conversation).

Anyways, as soon as she heard ADHD guy say this her face lit up. She had a huge smile on her face, bigger than anything I'd seen in the last 2 hours.

My instant thoughts were "oh god here we go, is that a smug smile? am I going to get THAT speech about how these things are all in my imagination and stating the material world is all that exists" etc etc (basically writing me off/invalidating me, which I'm very much used to hearing whenever I reference these subjects, and so with me having so many past negative experiences and with her being a medical professional that was my instant automatic reaction).

But no, instead she asked me to detail some of what I've been experiencing. I locked eyes with her (something I felt uncomfortable about doing before and had mostly avoided before this, likely autistic trait and also anxiety) and stated very seriously how since 2021 I've been having various anomalous experiences kick in which was a great shock to me as someone that was previously a huge skeptic & materialist science type (but one that did have an open mind and knew there must be some truth to these things others are saying).

I told her how I started knowing things before they happened which came to me as thoughts, pure knowing & visions, or shown through dreams. I also stated that I had many different kinds of paranormal interactions, multiple of which had happened when other people were there with me to verify these things physically happened. I then gave her a few examples of each, which I was very nervous speaking openly about because I'm very sensitive in general to the opinions of others.

I forgot the majority of what she said after this as I was very stressed and overwhelmed at the time so its mostly a blur, but towards the end of her very long response to me disclosing these experiences to them both she basically stated something along the lines of "as a medical professional with the way you have just conveyed this information to me, as well as the ways you have interacted with me in the past few hours, I have no concerns about you" and then she started listing multiple medical reasons for why she came to this conclusion, including the fact that I'd had multiple encounters that involved other people too and so yes this is very clearly something that actually happened to me.

Afterwards I stated "oh thats a relief - I'm glad to hear that, I was worried that there was a slight chance I had some kind of condition I didn't know about".

Afterwards to my shock & surprise they both chimed in stating - "well, we don't normally bring this up, but we've both had some of our own experiences too".

I genuinely didn't expect them to state this but I felt so much more comfortable once they had.

I can't remember specifics, but they basically went on to say that they'd both had encounters involving family members that have died, which is what I stated I've had happen too in some experiences I had just covered.

One of multiple of their experiences I do remember them telling me was that the woman with dyslexia stated that she had woken up in the middle of the night with a thought/knowing stating "dad has died" - which she originally brushed off but then found out was actually true the next morning, and that it had happened at the exact time she had previously woken up and received that thought too. I told her I've done a lot of research into these things and reassured her by saying to her the experience she's described is actually very very common.

It's clear to me that she was smiling when this subject was previously brought up because she felt validated by the idea of what we'd be discussing.

I stated that "I can't really prove these things to others unless something happens when we are both present, or if I have something come through that they can personally validate as being true, but it happens very randomly". I then jokingly stated that "in my case its like the X-Men where I don't have control over this ability".

She also threw in the word clairvoyant, and in response I said "yes well I was considering potentially attending some evidential mediumship development classes in the future, as I know of a few that take this line of work very seriously and they follow a strict code of ethics which is not what everyone does".

She then said "well all I advise is that if you do at some point decide to go down the route of exploring that - just make sure you're doing it safely".

At the end of the conversation I also thanked them for openly going out of their way to share their own experiences with me, especially as it had related to their loved ones that had passed on (and with me understanding that doing so in their positions may typically be looked down on or potentially discouraged).

In this clip Dr Rupert Sheldrake speaks about his experiences in academia where he constantly has scientists "in the closet" coming up to him in private one after the other expressing their interest in aspects of the paranormal but state they avoid bringing these topics up with their colleagues, unbeknownst to each other that they all have an interest in these topics: https://youtu.be/wT5-hXWIkzM?si=R60om6eDZYQE0g1g&t=1840

This is why Disclosure is so important - the stigma is the main block. There are many people who would be willing to share what they've experienced but they feel unable to do so out of fears of various outcomes. The more we normalise these conversations the better.

Even after my experiences I still love science, and so do many of the other scientist experiencers throughout history - we just understand the phenomena is complex and needs to be approached differently. We are aware that scientific materialism is too limiting. Dr Diana Pasulka states here how many great scientists were experiencers and took these things seriously, even if behind closed doors: https://youtu.be/r2KXlbLM-RY?si=MrpYXgg1Er3GTehZ&t=1746

(Fun fact - it was my comment in the live chat that she had seen which she was referencing to in that clip lol - about spiritual scientists).

The coming paradigms that state "consciousness is fundamental and non-local" and that address anomalous phenomena paint a much more incredible picture of the universe/existence and of ourselves than what materialism currently tells us is true.

Are you a medical professional or a scientist yourself? Have you spoken about what you've experienced with your colleagues, or do you keep these things to yourself?

Have you had an experience where someone you're with turns around/looks away and then right at that moment an orb of light/UFO appears?

I'm an Experiencer since 2021 (experienced multiple different kinds of anomalous phenomena) & this has happened to me multiple times now when I'm with different close loved ones on seperate occasions where the person I'm with has turned around whilst I'm looking up in a specific area, and then right when they turn around for one second an orb flares up in and out exactly where I'm looking.

They appear just above street level too (few metres up - halfway up a street lamp post here in the UK, or equal to the height of a lamp post).

With this one that happened earlier I was leaving my friends house at like 22:30pm (she's stopping at her nans currently). My taxi was arriving shortly and so we both went outside. She exited the front door ahead of me and I was following her looking up at the moon. She then turned around to throw her trash away and the moment she turned to face me the orb darted in and out above us as mentioned. This one moved away from us, but on a seperate occasion (with my mum in our garden) it darted from the right to the left.

I have read others mention this and so it seems to be a common dynamic, so thought I'd make a post about it to ask.

Others have said they won't appear if the people we are with aren't ready to have an experience of this yet (but then the loved one does eventually get that sighting and then more after that).

What are your thoughts?

With these kinds of experiences I feel a sense of humour with the timings.

Listen to Experiencers

I see posts daily from non-experiencers on other subreddits where they are speculating about the different aspects of non-human intelligences (NHI) and of other types of anomalous phenomena, elements that are already very well known and understood by now thanks to all of the very brave people who decided to go against the extreme stigma and share these very personal and often time powerful experiences that have had a dramatic impact on their lives.

I say these things are very well known and understood by now primarily because across the board for the majority of experiencers, scientists and researchers who are all on the cutting-edge of this stuff there's already a largely agreed upon consensus that has formed regarding where the future of this topic is headed - namely the formation of a new paradigm which states that consciousness is fundamental, that consciousness acts non-locally and is capable of transcending time & space, and that the current materialist paradigm is definitely incorrect and doesn't represent the complete picture of reality as displayed by all the countless varied types of anomalous data points which connect to eachother and help to paint a clear picture of the greater reality we find ourselves in.

Philosopher Bernardo Kastrup's take on the next 20 years - a look into our future paradigm

Many are now in the process of catching up to what we already know.

In one example I've just seen;

Someone created a post speculating about ontological shock and brushing us off by saying it's an overused term and the phenomena isn't really shocking. Also coming up with other reasons for why that term could exist, speculating about what these so-called "indigestible truths" could be, and why disclosure might actually be shocking if the phenomena itself isn't the shocking part, lol.

(In response to that and to quickly clarify, the phenomena IS shocking when it is engaging with you directly, and the ways these interactions happen fundamentally change your view of yourself, others and of reality itself, forever).

When I was reading this post (and speculative ones like it) I let out a deep sigh, as it feels physically painful & jarring to read (and I'm sure many other experiencers can relate to this). I/we don't want to have to feel that way, but what I'm about to say in the following paragraph is why we do. I personally just end up thinking something along the lines of;

"They don't even need to speculate - they could just come to this community and make an open respectful post asking this same question and we'd happily give them the answers they're seeking as to why the phenomena is so shocking/reality breaking. We'll provide links, examples of our own experiences & explanations discussing different elements of the phenomena and describe things like the unfolding nature of contact itself. Also the larger questions such as what contact displays about the human condition/what we are capable of, and also the true nature of the greater reality, etc etc."

I know that when we experiencers are given the proper people & environments many of us are willing to share the life-altering things we've experienced to people who are willing to listen (people who display kindness, openness, respect) and many of us are open books and want to help spread the word about the way these interactions take place (especially because many of us are very knowledgeable and well researched on these topics too outside of having the direct experiences which help to bring clarity to contact dynamics).

But sadly, often times when I see posts like that on other subreddits (particularly the larger subreddits) I usually avoid replying to the people in these posts because I know the types of responses I'll end up getting in the comments before I even hit send due to the stigma around these subjects (plus also receiving a ton of downvotes even though we are speaking truth).

This subreddit is the only safe haven outside of a select few other subreddits that are dedicated to different aspects of the phenomena. I've not had many bad experiences on the other phenomena subreddits because it's often time non-experiencers who go there specifically with an open mind and who are wanting to learn and ask questions to direct experiencers, or it's for people who (like here) have direct experience with one aspect of the phenomena and stick around to discuss elements of it and continue learning and expanding our knowledge. Also to offer encouragement and reassurance to those who are in a state of shock & going through the stages of grief as they wake up to this contact being real.

For non-experiencers reading this - Oak (the founder of r/Experiencers who has spent the past 5 years voluntarily supporting many hundreds of experiencers directly on support calls, and has helped thousands/millions more through this community existing) made a great post on how to approach asking questions on this subreddit if there is something you'd like to know and want to start a discussion to hear from the people closest to the phenomena:

A message to earnestly curious skeptics and non-experiencers: How to engage experiencers within this community and learn about the topic.

As Oak states in that post r/Experiencers is an important space - it is not like your typical subreddit as it is one that is heavily protected. This space primarily acts as a support group environment for the many of us that are long past that point of BELIEF - experiencers are people who KNOW the phenomena is real.

Also these ones are important too:

Diana Pasulka's work represents one of the significant pillars of the Experiencer Phenomenon

The Experiencers Subreddit hits 111k

Oak & his post history is a goldmine of information, so I'd highly recommend everyone who wants to understand what is going on with experiencers and the phenomena to take the time and have a read through.

He's made many different posts over the past 5 years that can help to clarify many of the things you may want answers to, and I'm sure he'd be happy to reply to comments on those posts if you want to leave one if you are needing any further clarification.

It is true that there are aspects of the phenomena which still largely remain a mystery, at this point I think it's meant to be this way (because of the beings themselves and how selective they seem to be about when, where and how they show up).

But we can continue to learn and work our way towards that eventual full understanding of what is going on here with the phenomena, if that is even achievable at some point in the future of the human race. Many would say that actually it's more of a returning, as many mystics have known about these kinds of things for thousands of years.

First we need to start treating experiencers more seriously (as they are at the highest levels and behind the scenes), and with more kindness and respect, more love and less fear, and embrace these unknowns if we are to move forward collectively.

Stay open & stay curious - much love to all and thanks for taking the time to read! :) 💛

Experiencers are on the right side of history and all of the dynamics that we speak of represent the future of where our species is headed.

What do you imagine the world will look like after disclosure?

Experiencers are already in a post-disclosure world for the most part, and so disclosure is just the collective consciousness catching up to what experiencers here already know (even if that takes hundreds/thousands more years).

"What do you imagine the world will look like after disclosure?"

If we got 100% full disclosure of everything that is currently being denied/suppressed (which I don't expect to happen, atleast not at the start anyway), how do you expect that to go down? Especially if it meant NHI engaging more openly with the world.

As I'm asking this question I'm thinking in its most utopian/ideal and very long-term sense - AKA the full realisation of the ideals behind the "Age of Aquarius" - which I know is unrealistic given how humans currently are lol. I'm naturally an idealist and so I like to envision the most hopeful/best case scenario realities and work towards that by using it as a guiding star. But you can also offer different perspectives ofcourse.

In the most utopian sense (where scientific progress is not being suppressed) I imagine there would be free energy etc and other things (if those technologies do currently exist but are being held back). I would hope this would lead to a society that is less focused on the material and instead focused more on encouraging the individual to life a live they love, and through following what the individual loves I would hope that they would be given the opportunity to contribute to society in their own unique ways that suits them (I feel this is especially important for neurodivergent people who may currently struggle with the current way things are, especially within this cold and ruthless capatalist system that is destroying the earth). The indigenous populations were way more clued into this greater reality, and they lived more harmoniously with nature and understood the importance of balance, so in large part I feel it would be moving forward but also honouring the old ways also.

Alongside this there would finally be the merging of science with spirituality - spiritual truths being proven as scientific facts, and the entering into the new paradigm of 'consciousness being fundamental'

>“For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of mystics (experiencers) who have been sitting there for centuries.”
Robert Jastrow

In my views there would also be way more importance placed on psychology but also incorporating the spiritual/non-local aspects of evolving the consciousness/human soul 🌟 the human population as a whole would be encouraged to develop their psychic capacity much more than it currently is, and the stigma surrounding our psychic potential would be removed.

There would be way more importance placed on having direct experience of greater reality phenomena. With that also comes the removal of the fear of death - - how would the world look if this was the case?

Would love to hear your thoughts. 💛

The experiences that turned you from a 99% or lower believer/skeptic/cynic to a 100% knower that there were beings engaging with you in some way?

The experiences that you automatically think back to when someone questions why you think (know) the phenomena is real?

Your "0% doubt" moment.

If you have any please share! Feel free to also link back to previous posts or comments where you covered them if you wanna save some time.

These two experiences on my linked post below I class as my first main undeniable experiences, as they were two interactions that are impossible from a materialist/current science paradigm perspective.

I've shared this a few times in my previous posts, but for anyone that hasn't read it:

"Spirits can't interact with the physical environment" I once said - boy was I wrong lol

After this experience I could no longer deny that something more was going on. This was my own personal "point of no return".
