Is there anyway to use cargo airports to speed up logistics?

Basically I put down 1 cargo airport and had one set to drop off goods at the other (red down arrow to blank) but my economy instantly crashed. Checking why it turns out they were driving goods allllll the way from my raw resources to the blank airport and flying them back to where they started. Then I tried swapping but same issue. What am I doing wrong? Or are airports not made for that?

If I cap Britain before US joins as Germany can I get a hard battle later or is it just basically over?

I like to play more roleplay than meta but sometimes I get lucky and catch the Brits with thier trousers down. If I was to take the home islands and former Germany colonies and give Italy the Mediterranean could I expect the Brits to come back with the Americans to try and liberate or will they just forget I exist and focus purely the Japanese?

Same for the soviets, if I was to take only the land required for Greater German reich could they ever rebuild and come back for me?

Trying to do a non-eu democratic Belgium but even with Heavy SPAA with dozer blades and all the entrenchment buffs AND level 7 forts the Germans just roll over me. I get it's a skill issue but would love if anyone can give me tips.

My inf are a mix of Belgium and Congo units but same template. 9 inf 1 art 1 Heavy SPAA with support art, aa, engineer and field hospital

Doctrine is Great war tactics, field engineering, and desperate defence. These are all level 1 though since no combat experience to level them up

The SPAA is kinda expensive but is solid armour, PE engine, 3 man turret, AA gun 1 (switch to 2 once I have it), radio 2, dozer blade, easy maintenance, extra mg. And armour to bring speed to 4 since it's with infantry anyways
