Finland proposed design for 5000 Markkaa - never produced.
This was illustrated in a BOF museum display some years back. No photographs. I managed to find this one online but there was also another vertical rear design that I’ve never been able to find again. Would be great to see a good resolution image.

Unissued USSR 1991 series 25 Rubles.
All the other denominations from 1961 were reissued with modified designs in 1991, except for the 25. The colouring is quite nice - certainly better than the original 25. Shame it was never issued.

German (Bergisch Gladbach) and Russian (StPetersburg) in Fethiye, Turkey, yesterday.
The German car is unsurprising, but it’s a long and complicated drive from St Petersburg to southern Turkey.
