Stone Field Shaving Co's North of Fifty pre-shave oil. 2nd two-pass shave with that KCG blade. Pretty smooth stuff with a nice summery scent.

First time using the 42. Great lather and interesting fragrance that pairs well with the Henri et Victoria Lime. The face feels good with a very nice summery scent. 2nd two-pass shave with that KCG blade. Happy Friday :D
Just came in so I am now officially a hoopy frood. :D Unfortunately, we can't get the aftershave shipped here (something about the alcohol and aspirin in it being an issue. Governments, man) so my nose is telling me either Henri et Victoria's Lime or E&S Rasage's Barber should compliment the soap nicely. Any other suggestions?
Some stores just don't ship to Canada. I'm in Portage, so it's easier to use Walhalla or Neche vs Pembina. Does anyone know if the Parcel Barn in Walhalla or Menke's in Neche are still there? Last time I did this was pre-pandemic.
Hmm, red towel looks nicer than tan. Towel looks neater than counter.
I have absolutely no complaints on the shave I get from Wilkinson Classics. Coupled with the artisan soaps and whatnot, it makes for a very pleasant shave. I really don't need any other razor, but that said, ain't nothing wrong with collecting things you like. Happy hump day :)
5th and final shave with that Feather. A bit of irritation on the neck so added a balm from the same family to go with the splash. Decided to try a towel for background vs everything on the counter. Not sure what the preference is, so did both :)
First time using that vintage Gillette. Loaded with a King C Gillette blade, it provided a mild, comfortable shave. Also my first time using E&S Rasage "Barber" for the lather and aftershave splash. The lather has a bit of mocha tinge to it and required a fair amount of water. Slick enough. Fragrance is a tad different than what I've tried, but the skin feels good. Lingering notes of soap and pipe tobacco - so kind of like an old-time barbershop. Funny, that! It'll come out of the drawer again.
This cleaned up quite well. Only two blades in the tuck. Razor is made in England. Not sure on how to date more accurately as there's no date codes, but it reads 'patent pending' under the doors, weighs 63g, and has a notched door divider. Absolutely teeny tiny compared to my Rockwell T2
18.21 Glide for pre-shave. Yaqi Mysterious Space brush. 2nd shave with that Gillette Platinum blade. Very nice Sunday shave. Have a great one :)
18.21 Glide lotion for pre-shave. New Platinum blade. Very nice smooth shave.
My lake setup. Topaz Platinum blade. Pretty good considering there was nothing fancy and the entire pre-shave prep consisted of a warm wash with a bit of shaving soap water.
Using more of my Henri et Victoria samples. Gotta love it when the wife comes home and complements the smell. 4th shave with that Feather blade. Still close and smooth but did dial the razor down the 2 1/2 for today's shave.
I bought the Henri and Victoria Lime to go with Barrister and Mann's 42 'cause you can't get their matching aftershave shipped to Canada. Adding that Lime sampler (thanks, Jonathan!) made for a very refreshing Wednesday shave. 3rd shave with that Feather. No issues with going for four.
and mixed it all up with a new lime green Yaqi 24mm Janus Bifrons brush. 5" artisan coconut bowl. Old Spice Lime from India shaving cream and aftershave. 18.21 Glide lotion for preshave. 2nd shave with that Feather blade. I will be buying more of those.
First use with Bartigan & Stark's Fortune Bay soap and Feather razors. Both thumbs up.
A very nice evening shave that won't leave me scented up for bed. American Crew Pre-Shave oil, and whipped up some Blue's goat milk soap from New Zealand with the Omega badger That Slim is an original 65-year-old survivor. 5th and final shave with that blade.
Soapy Bathman's Crisp Bay Rum soap and balm. Yaqi Mysterious Space synthetic brush. T2 set to 3, 3rd and final 2-pass shave with that blade. Baby bum smooth.
Took the new Yaqi 26mm Mysterious Space for a spin - very soft but a bit harder to load with a hard soap than a natural fibers brush. Also tried a Chinese-made King C Gillette blade for the first time - quite similar feel to the Gillette Platinum. Stone Field Shaving Co's Lucky Number 54 soap and after shave used today. I smell very good. :) Happy Friday!
Broke out the Arko for today's shave. Also tried a Derby Extra blade for the first time. T2 set to 3. The shave felt pretty good the first bit, but I ended up leaking at the lower neck and where the earlobe meets the face. Must have got complacent or something. Still smelt the Arko after the Old Spice Musk.
18.21 Glide shave lotion used for pre-shave. Rocky Mountain Barber Co. Glacial Spring soap whipped with the Omega boar. Rockwell T2 loaded with a Rockwell Razors blade (2nd shave) and set to 3.25 for a nice two pass shave. Finished the shave off with the alum stick and a good splash of Old Spice Musk.
