Lobbers

3.85 player here. Play in some area tournaments and a weekly league but most just play open recreation play at a few different places.
Am I the only one who just doesn’t like playing with or against someone who lobs (or tries to lob) constantly ?
To me it’s a sign of weakness in your game if your first shot choice is to try to lob when more often than not a 3rd/5th shot drive or drop would be the better shot choice. I have seen newer and younger players in the 3.0ish range lob old people with mobility issues. It takes a lot of the fun out of the game. I acknowledge it is a legal shot and there is a time to lob for sure but not all the time and certainly not against older or players with mobility issues at open recreation type play. I am open to different opinions. Convince me I am wrong.
