Nova Elite ANC

Hi all

Just got my Nova Elite a few days ago. Without any sound and with ANC set to high, I can hear a very very faint rumbling sound, bit like a moving train, from the right earcup. Wondering how normal this is? And whether anyone else’s Elites do the same?

Thanks

Arctis Nova Elite Firmware

Hi all,

Had a quick question I wanted to ask you guys before buying the Arctis Nova Elite. Since I only own a Mac, I hear I'll only be able to update to the current firmware; if there are any further updates, I won't be able to update them.

Do you view this as a dealbreaker? Unsure how important it would be to keep them up to date. My partner does have a windows pc that was bought new back in 2018, but unsure if that would meet the requirements.
Any thoughts on this would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Arctis Nova Elite for JRPGS

Hi all

I'd appreciate some advice about a headset I'm considering buying. I'm currently using the Sony XM5s, mostly for JRPGs on the switch 2 and ps5. I know Bluetooth suffers from latency, but I struggle to notice it with the kinds of games I usually play and I also think they sound great.

However, I'm also considering buying the Arctis Nova Elite, as I occasionally want to use voice chat and the XM5's microphone doesn't work while gaming. My only concern is that, because it's a gaming headset, the Nova Elite might be tuned more for competitive multiplayer games and FPS shooters, which aren’t the types of games I often play

I'd really appreciate any thoughts on this, as one of my favourite aspects of gaming is enjoying the soundtrack. While budget isn’t an issue, I still wouldn't want to spend a large sum on a headset that's geared more towards competitive multiplayer than delivering a spacious and balanced soundstage.

Thanks and best wishes

Arctis Nova Elite & XM5 for JRPGs

Hi all

I’d appreciate some advice about a headset I’m considering buying. I’m currently using the XM5s, mostly for JRPGs on the switch 2 and ps5. I know Bluetooth suffers from latency, but I struggle to notice it with the kinds of games I usually play.

However, I’m also considering buying the Arctis Nova Elite, as I occasionally want to use voice chat and the XM5’s microphone doesn’t work while gaming. My only concern is that, because it’s a gaming headset, the Nova Elite might have worse sound quality than the XM5s. I’m wondering if it’s tuned more for competitive multiplayer games and shooters, which aren’t really the types of games I play.

I’d really appreciate any thoughts on this, as one of my favourite aspects of gaming is enjoying the soundtrack. I wouldn’t want to spend a large sum on a headset that’s geared more towards competitive multiplayer than delivering a spacious, immersive soundstage.

Thanks and best wishes

arctis nova elite

Hi all

Thinking of picking up the nova elite mainly for switch 2, but also for the ps5 pro. Just wanted to make sure they’re fully compatible with the switch 2, since the product description doesn’t make this clear. Thanks!
