I’m looking for 4 foreign residents or international students in Fukuoka who would like to join a special Kendo experience for FREE this Friday.
Date: Friday, August 14
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Fukuoka
You’ll get to:
Experience Japanese Kendo
Take photos wearing Kendo uniform and hakama
Be part of a Japanese TV program filming at the dojo
Experience traditional Japanese martial arts culture
No Kendo experience is necessary. Beginners are very welcome.
You don’t need to have any experience appearing on TV. Just come and enjoy the experience.
There is NO participation fee.
Only the first 4 people will be accepted.

You’ll have the chance to photograph international visitors experiencing Kendo in a traditional Japanese dojo. You’re welcome to use the photos in your portfolio or on social media, and I’ll credit you whenever I use them.
