AppleCare+ Question
My physically abusive mom broke my headphones on purpose earlier today and warped the band pretty bad (my best efforts to shape them failed, so they are now loose and don’t sit flush with my ears). I have annual AppleCare+ on them currently, but given the circumstances, I was wondering if I could get this covered or how to go about bringing them in, as I’m pretty embarrassed by the prospect of explaining this and it’s obvious they weren’t like accidentally dropped. I have limited income until spring when I’ll graduate and move out (chose a harder major for the best chance at freedom, so I can’t work very many hours and what I do make goes towards necessities as my parents pretty much only provide a house and healthcare at this point-not complaining, just explaining) but until then, I don’t know how I’ll be able to afford a replacement as these were gifted. Any guidance/information is appreciated!
