I am looking at starting my silencer collection but wanted to get some feedback and recommendations before I dip my toes in.

I currently own AR-15s in 5.56 with 16" and 10.3" barrels. One of them was purchased with a SilencerCo ASR flash hider pre-installed. I also own an 8" PDW in .300, and a 16" PCC in 9mm.

What QD muzzle devices does the community recommend, and should I just stick with SilencerCo since I already have a rifle with one of their QD mounts? Also, what suppressor(s) would be recommended for someone starting out that would work well with my current lineup?

Has anyone had any luck with mitigating the gas to the face from the PCC? I am currently running an unsuppressed 16" PCC that isn't very pleasant to shoot for very long due to the amount of gas that gets into your eyes and lungs. It also seems like the PCC gets filthy after just 10 or so rounds unlike the DDM4 platform rifles I have. Even my mags are getting covered in thick layers of carbon from just one day at the range unlike any of my DDM4s or other pistols.

I've tried different ammo so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the ammo I run. I also run the same ammo in my G19 without any of the build up or gas issues. Maybe I've over lubricated the PCC? I'd love any advice any of you may have.
