Backpacking photographers?

Hello!

Just wanted to drop in here and ask if there are any backpacking photographers?

I specifically mean photographers who travel with various pieces of gear. For example, I travel with one camera body. 2-3 lenses, tripod, drone, laptop, batteries and chargers and various bits and bobs.

I've managed to onebag for short trips 3-5 days using my rolltop camera bag (12L rolltop), but longer trips get tricky. Last year I backpacked Japan, South Korea and Java, using a Cotopaxi 40L backpack and my camera bag for all tech.

I'm just curious if there are any Onebagging photographers that managed to get all gear and stuff in one bag for longer trips, or curious to hear about how other backpacking photographers setup their backpacks 😁

Backbill after nearly 15 months!?

I left my flat and Octopus Energy on the 5th of April 2025. My bill was settled and my remaining credit was reimbursed.

Now, 1 year and nearly 3 months later I received a bill via email stating I have to pay them £110.

Based on what I've found online (links at bottom), Under back billing rules, your supplier cannot usually send you a bill for energy you used more than 12 months ago. The last communication I had with/from them was my final bill on the 1st of April 2025.

I personally don't see why I would have to pay this.

Any suggestion / insight is really appreciated 🙏🏼

Sync library from stremio into Nuvio & Trakt

Hello!

Long time stremio user. I thought I had Trakt sync enabled correctly but never really checked Trakt since I could just use stremio on any device and it always knew what I had already watched and what not.

Testing Nuvio now, got it setup using one of the recommended setup wizards I've seen on this sub. So far it looks really good.

I wanted to sync my library and everything I've watched to Nuvio of possible. Found two sync pages and tried them. They seemed to sync. But then I go to Nuvio, and see everything has been synced to the Nuvio Library (under Library Source). But Trakt was set as library source and that made me look at Trakt and I see Stremio had not been syncing anything (bummer).

So now, using Nuvio, anything I watch seems to sync to Trakt fine. Great.

But:

* is there any way of syncing my Nuvio Library to Trakt?

* is there any way to update Trakt with my whole watch history (from stremio or Nuvio)?

* If under Library Source I use Nuvio Library, will this be synced between devices?

Also, if there's any alternative to Trakt or something similar that works with either stremio or Nuvio I'm all ears. I just want to be able to easily and simply keep track of shows, movies and anime I watch 😅

Currently, while testing this I've set "Library Source = Nuvio Library", and "Watch Progress = Trakt".

Thank you!

For quite a lot of years I've been using WP Review Pro by MyThemeShop (makers of Rank Math) to add reviews of books, games, etc to my blog.

It works, does what I need, but there're a few things I don't like, such as barely any updates in the last couple of years, support through a forum which doesn't work so well and the fact that I pay a yearly fee.

Does anyone know of any alternative? Ideally something that would be able to import my existing reviews so I don't have to rewrite them haha, but if I have to spend some hours or days to do that I'm ok as long as the plugin is more actively maintained, maybe lighter and free would be a great bonus too.

I've looked for review plugins but most I find are for Google review stuff or for people to leave reviews which is not what I'm looking for.
