Squeaking noise under load even after replacing roller bearings — stumped
Hey everyone,
I've got a treadmill that's developed a squeaking/chirping noise whenever weight/load is applied while walking or running (it's much quieter or silent when the belt runs empty, no one on it).
Troubleshooting so far:
Pulled the deck cover and inspected the front and rear rollers.
Replaced the bearings on both rollers, thinking worn bearings were the culprit.
Reassembled everything, retested… and the squeak is still there, seemingly identical to before.

Update: I was able to reproduce the sound by trying to stop the treadmill with my body weight while it was running, with little to no belt movement, after slightly reducing the belt tension. I weigh 82 kg / 181 lb, and the machine is rated for up to 120 kg / 265 lb, so I'm well within the weight limit. I'm showing this in the video. Chirp noise only when stopping the belt under load.
