X24 screen - not working and brand new

Just bought a Nordic track and set it up. Immediately I noticed that the screen wasn’t truly responsive to every touch. Now I had to hard reset and I can’t even get past the language screen. Any suggestions ? I like the idea of the treadmill but this is ridiculous. Brand new 3k machine!

Help!

What’s something treadmill reviews don’t mention enough?

Most treadmill reviews I see focus heavily on specs like speed, incline, horsepower, etc. But very few talk about what it actually feels like to use one daily.
Things like comfort, maintenance, noise, and long-term stability seem way more important than I expected.
What do you wish reviews talked about more?

Folding Treadmills vs non folding

I hear many people want folding treadmills because they don’t have enough space, so they need to keep the treadmill folded when not in use.

I also don’t have enough space in my home but I keep my folding treadmill open at all times otherwise the sheer chore of unfolding it before every use will not make me wanna use it everyday!

Only reason I got a folding treadmill was to be able to clean under it easily every other day.

So people who have a folding treadmill do you keep it open or fold it up after every use? Does it affect your motivation or urge to use it everyday or not?

Best treadmill with big screen??

Need some treadmill advice from people that actually use theirs regularly.
I was set on getting a NordicTrack 1750 because I want the big screen, scenic runs, guided workouts, chest strap HR monitoring, all that stuff. But the more reviews and Reddit posts I read, the more it seems like NordicTrack has a ton of reliability/customer service issues.
Now I’m looking at the Peloton Tread but man… between the treadmill price and monthly subscription it’s hard to justify.
I’m not really interested in a basic treadmill. The whole reason I want one is for the immersive experience because I know I’ll use it more if it actually feels enjoyable.
For people that own one:
What would you buy again?

Is Peloton actually worth the money?

Are the NordicTrack problems as bad as people say?

Any other good options with a big screen and good workout content?

Trying to stay around the $2k range but willing to spend more if it’s genuinely worth it.

Weird sound coming from motor?

I've been using this treadmill on and off over a year. Last week it started making that noise during a walking session. Does anyone have any clue what it could be?

Eta it also smells like burnt rubber.

I need help choosing a treadmill. HELP.

Hello! The more I read, the more confused I become so I am hoping y'all can help me. I am 58, 4'9", weigh 125. I am looking only to walk on the treadmill but I am doing interval walks so I may get up to 4mph at times, but not all the time. Maybe I would walk about 10 miles/week. I'd like an auto-incline. Space is not an issue so I don't need one that folds.

I keep going back to the Sunny SF-T723030. I like the free app that connects to my TV, but my son says I shouldn't buy a treadmill based on the app. But it still seems to meet my needs. It's on Amazon for $600.

Then there's the Horizon 7.0 AT at $935. I like the controls are on the handle, but not sure how to use an app with it and if it would connect to my TV. The warranty seems to be great, but I hear the customer service sucks (and so does the Sunny supposedly.)

I'd like to spend around $1,000. Opinions on the Sunny? Horizon? Any other suggestions??? My head is spinning and I'd like it to stop. LOL.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

What treadmill feature ended up mattering more than you expected?

When I first started researching treadmills, I focused mostly on speed, incline, and basic specs. But the more I read real user experiences, the more I see people mention things I ignored — noise, cushioning, stability, etc. For those who actually own one, what ended up mattering most over time? Comment 1 (surprised discovery): Noise was the one I completely underestimated. I didn’t think it would matter much until I started using it at home regularly, and then it became the main thing I noticed.

Horizon 7.4 AT For Marathon Training?

I have some life changes coming where I won’t be able to leave my house as easily to run outside but I run marathons and would like to continue running them so I am looking for a suitable home treadmill.

Is the horizon 7.4 at a good option for marathon training and would it be able to handle high mileage? Are there better options I should consider instead?

Do people regret buying cheaper treadmills long term?

I’ve been going back and forth on this for weeks now. Every time I think I’ve settled on a budget treadmill, I see people saying it broke in a year or felt unstable. Then others say they’ve had theirs for years with no issues.

I’m not planning anything intense mostly walking and light jogging at home but I also don’t want to make a mistake and end up replacing it sooner than expected.
For people who started with cheaper treadmills, did you regret it or was it actually fine long term?

Improving my virtual treadmill runs with immersive content

Hello all,

I posted here a few days ago about me filming virtual runs to help with the boredom of treadmill running and got some good feedback, so thanks!

I'm working on improving these even further and I am creating a series of runs where you have to collect coins along the route. Does this sound like something that would help you?

I've just uploaded another Coin Run and I would love any feedback from you guys - all suggestions taken on board! Thanks in advance,

Happy running everyone 🏃‍♀️

Treadmill pace tracking

Anyone have a device recommendation for tracking my pace. I have a fenix and the distance is always on point but the pace is always off by a min or two. Strictly on the treadmill

How much should I spend

Someone is listing this older model Sole F85 with 139 miles and 43 hours of use. It’s listed at $650 but seller agreed to sell for $400. I don’t know much about treadmills, but is this a good deal or is it too old? My guess is mid-2010s model. Seller says no issues with anything

I want it for a home gym mostly for walking on inclines my husband may use it for more running but likely not intense hiit workouts.

Title: Do treadmill brands actually feel different from each other?

Before researching, I assumed most treadmills were basically the same. But the more I read, the more people say brands feel noticeably different in smoothness, stability, and noise.

For people who’ve used multiple machines, is that actually true or just overblown?

Creaking noises from walking pad while walking on it at high speed

My treadmill or walking pad, you can say makes creaking noises when I walk on it at around 6 km/h speed or higher sometimes even at 5 km/h speed. I have tried loosening the belt , tightening the belt, lubricating the belt every thing and it just doesn’t stop , the noise disappears when I stop walking on it and it is running at around the same speed, but the moment I step on it and start walking at that same speed, it makes creaking noises. I am attaching the video below for reference.

Another ceiling question.. 6'2" w/ 8' ceiling.

I'm considering the Sole F63. Anyone similar in height and shorter (8 foot) ceilings? I believe I would be good at the highest incline (which won't be used often). But will i be comfortable at slight inclines? 6'2", estimated extra inch for shoes.

$24k treadmill??

My wife loved the treadmills on a cruise ship we were just on. So I took a pic to look it up and it lists for $24k.

Our home fitness room is where we currently have 100% used equipment. All of which work great and have lasted forever. We both exercise daily, so we do use our stuff a lot.

Does anyone have reccos for quality, commercial gym grade treadmills that aren't $24k? Researching whats on aFB marketplace now I do see higher end stuff ($4k used) that has warnings about being heavy (350-450#'s). We are in our upper 60's and while athletic for our age, we have no delusions about trying to lift a 350# treadmill into a pickup. We aren't broke, so I guess we will buy new with delivery.

Is belt tight enough? How can I tell?

I have an UREVO waking pad I got used from a neighbor.

I thought it into my office, applied some lubricant, retightened belt.

When I step with right foot I hear this annoying sound - it’s in video.

Idk how to describe the sound.

Any ideas?

Reebok FR20Z Floatride

Hi everyone! I’m in the market for a treadmill, right now there is a sale on the brand new Reebok FR20Z for $399. Anyone have experience with this treadmill? Would it be a waste of money? Or a good deal for the price? I wouldn’t be running long distances, mainly will be used to get back into running for my wife and I! Most likely won’t do runs longer than 30 minutes or so. Thanks for any help!
Edit: Also available is a floor model Sole f63 for $499, are floor models a bad idea?
