MVR

I recently just turned 21 last month and applied to KLLM to go to their driver school, where they pay for your CDL, and basically got denied. Not sure if it was because of my driving record or because my license hasn’t been in good standing for one whole year, which it will be on the 24th of this month.

So after I got denied, I went and applied to Knight Transportation, which I tried to go through for their CDL, and I was basically accepted. My MVR looked good to them, plus they didn’t have a question about whether my license was in good standing for one year, so I think that was the problem but I’m not sure. I chose not to go with them and just get my CDL for free through the state, which I am currently going through.

But I need advice on whether this will affect me after I get my CDL when it comes to getting a good job. I’m really thinking about going to the Russians, I already found a company that’ll hire me with no experience but if my record looks bad, I’m pretty sure I’m screwed. And I’m cool on going OTR with the megas, I’d rather stay local and find a beverage company or a food service company.

1 Week Post-OP

PRE-OP & SURGERY

Before I start off I wanna say, I apologize for how poorly I write this but I al on a time crunch, but please guys stop listening to the negative reviews before you have the surgery & let that stop you or put fear into you getting the surgery, the day before my surgery I read many bad reviews before I got the surgery & it DIDN’T FAZE ME at all

I went to the Lasik Plus at the Galleria in Atlanta & got my surgery done by Dr Eugene Smith, the day of the surgery I was being stubborn & thought I was going to be able to drive home after the surgery but even Pre-Surgery they checked my eyes & put these eye drops in your eyes & everything is blurry & you won’t be able to see from a far at all & even though I planned to get the surgery that day I feel as if I wasn’t ready that day I was still kinda forced to get the surgery due to not being able to see nothing after she gave me those eyedrops so if you aren’t going to do a same day surgery you might as well have someone pick you up or take a uber/lyft home & limit your amount of screen time until after you get some sleep

But anyway’s I was told that I was a -7 in both eyes while the lady was checking my eyes out & she has this tool that she would rub my eyes with to move them in whatever direction she needed them to & she said to me “if this doesn’t bother you then I wouldn’t worry about the surgery because it feels the same but just with a little pressure” which had me not worried or scared at all but let me tell you guys it felt nothing like it, it was somewhat painful just a tad bit & i wasn’t going to try to move my upper body but I definitely starting to put my legs in the air & row them as if I was on a boat but I was told to stop & be still so if you are scared before surgery please ask to hold something in both hands & squeeze on it instead of moving but let me explain the pain so whenever they start they are going to put more eye drops in your eyes then put these things inside of your eyelids to keep your eyes open & then put these things suction cups on i believe if not just know you will feel some section & then you will stare into either a red or green light one eye at a time & before you’re done you’ll see nothing but black in whatever eye they start with then they’ll go to the next eye & the same thing will happen then & then they will transfer you over to another station & do the same thing & you will smell something burning but I believe it’s the machine laser-ing your cornea & then it’ll all be over & once you get up & open your eyes you can kind of see but everything will seem to be under the water & I definitely wasn’t gonna be able to drive home so I had my mother come pick me up & take my car home & if I was you I would definitely buy some very dark UV protection sunglasses because the glasses they give you aren’t bad but every is so bright after surgery it will irritate you how bright it is outside using their sunglasses I had to put napkins over my sunglasses until I got home & into the garage & before I went to sleep i took all my eye drops & meds then I went to sleep immediately for about 7 hours

POST-OP
After I woke up from my nap my eyes were dry & I was hungry so I took my eye drops, my meds, ate & I could see perfectly fine after my eyes weren’t so wet then I went back to sleep & woke up at 5AM & drove myself to my follow up appointment & to work & everything was fine but I will say you will see a glade from certain lights like headlights & street lights but signal lights & taillights were fine to me other than that I had no complaints whatsoever my eyes were only dry for 2-3 days & after that everything would feel normal just with better eyesight & I don’t even take my eye drops every two hours i take it once or twice a day due to me getting sick which I believe came from the after taste of the eyes drops because you will feel it in your nose then taste it in your mouth & it currently has me stuffed up other than that I went drifting Sunday which I did some runs with my glasses and some without & I got a bunch of tire particles in my eyes which was kind of dumb but after I went home & put multiple drops of those artificial tears in my eyes I didn’t really feel anything in my eyes anymore & the past three days I have been up in the air flying consistently without my sunglasses & I still have no problems or irritation in my eyes, I would rate my experience a 10/10

What’s wrong with this game

I had a flight out of KJFK-KORD and for some reason when i was cruising through Lake Michigan, my flight plan just discontinued all future waypoints while i was still at WYNDE & 12 minutes out from GIBNS, so the first time I just closed the game out & rejoined the flight through AP+ & it happened again, so this time I waited to reach a VOR/DME station & clear my flight plan & just add a RWY10C APPR & it did the same thing. am I doing something wrong here? i swear i didn’t touched anything & my LNAV was still set to GPS & not NAV1
