I’m not obese! And am more than halfway to goal

I just posted yesterday about the ups and downs of my post-surgical weight loss. One of you said maybe I would be experiencing a big drop at some point. Well, you’re right stood on the scale this morning and I’m down 1.2 pounds from yesterday. I am 100% sure that this will go back up tomorrow ha ha. But for right now I’m going to celebrate that I am “only“ overweight and not obese for the first time in probably 17+ years.

Started January 4th with a three month Pom started of BPI. What a great decision that was!

Currently on Empower 5mg but prob going up today.

Happy Friday! Some fun packages arriving today!

The Empower is a surprise and must be my 3rd and maybe 4th vial of my 6 month Pom package. The ReviveRx is for my daughter via LSH as JoinEzra told her that they can't ship to VA anymore? weird since obviously they are! Gotta say the Revive label created notice came yesterday afternoon so I was very worried it would sit all weekend for the holiday but it's overnight! Super impressed.

My post surgical life lately

Just look at this graph. This is what my life has been like whereas previous were always lines going downward. The ups and downs are killing me! There is no reason for it other than water retention i guess. I eat and drink the same every day and I do not have constipation (go every morning before I weigh). Also my one month chart which starts two days after emergency abdominal surgery (not glp1 related).

No advice needed, I know i just need to stick it out so sharing for anyone else who ever needs to have surgery while on tirz.

NSV from B3 additive light bulb moment

I have been taking Empower with B3 since March. Around February I started using a crazy expensive face cream (I’m 56 and never really used much on my face as I had always had oily skin). I bought the cream on a friends recommendation and with a big sale first purchase etc, I’ve been sitting here for months saying to myself “dang this cream really works!” And even bought a second batch and eye cream and neck cream too!

Come to read more about the B3 additive … and apparently it’s great for skin, in particular evening out the tone, which is exactly what I have mostly noticed. So now I’ve spent hundreds on this face cream and maybe it’s my tirz after all?! Struck me as funny!

anyone successful in challenging AltRX's misleading advertising?

So we all saw and many of us used the $129/month deal with Altrx, and a great deal it was to send Strive - so am super happy about that. However their advertising clearly stresses "$129/month no increases" and of course, we all found out it increases after the first month. I asked them about it and they at first said: "We totally understand why that would be confusing. The $129 you paid was for your initial 1-month order, but the “$129” pricing you’re referring to applies to Semaglutide, usually not Tirzepatide, and that is for our introductory rate."

So then I sent them a screen shot of the advertising which CLEARLY states its tirz. Their response is: "You’re right to flag the ad, and we’re sorry for the confusion here. The $129 you paid was the initial promotional first-month price. For tirzepatide, the ongoing refill pricing you’re referencing is typically $299/month (discounted from the original $399/month)."

Absolutely false advertising. They offered me an ongoing price of $219/month or $597 for three months. Anyone have success getting them to drop the monthly? or at least change their advertising?

Empower vs strive

Just for curiosity sake, which do you like better and why if you’ve tried both? I am on Empower and love it but have wanted to try strive so I have a vial on the way today. I have never taken b12 or glycine, just b6 and b3. I know glycine is good for sleep (I sleep like a log on empower) and b12 is for energy, so do they kinda cancel each other out?

Happy day, I am also getting Strive from AltRx

After much back and forth wherein they couldn't assure me what I am getting, and some payment issues, they finally approved me this weekend and the money came out of my bank today. Just got a notice that a shipment from Strive arrives tomorrow! I seriously do NOT need anymore but I want to try Strive and for $129, that's a steal. So does anyone know, do I need to cancel anything, does it auto renew and a crazy rate?

I know it's very expensive, and I know everyone has their favorite supplements, but dang, Gruns just really is a great fit for preventing stomach issues and constipation on Tirz. I had recent abdominal surgery and had taken a recent shot just before, and the constipation was REAL. Gruns saved the day and continues to do so. It's the one supplement that I have really found makes a big difference in my life on tirzepatide. I just bundled in the cost as part of my GLP1 journey and happy I did. I also love the new flavor, Strawberry Vanilla - though I despise the sugar free original version.

This just literally appeared on the doorstep with no tracking, and I even have the Fed Ex app with nothing showing. It was addressed to my daughter so maybe that is why but I thought it would show anything coming to this address. No shipping had ever been updated in Join Ezra and as recently as an hour ago they were still looking into it. Well jokes on them, it's here!

It comes in a nice little cooler, like BPI and Empower but this is MUCH smaller, and honestly more appropriately sized, especially for one vial. it has little Nordic Ice Packs which were defrosted but still cold. The med is cold to the touch. It has a pack of 10 Easy Touch Syringes and Easy Touch prep pads. Very good packaging all around.

She has a script for 6 mg, and we got 40 mgs of meds, so it will last a good 6+ weeks. BUD is July 8, 2026. She has taken this brand before and liked it, so hopefully it will be good. She just opened a vial of BPI and it may have too much B6 in it, so this will be a perfect step down if so because it has much less B6.

Nice deal for $150 even though it took 7 business days to arrive.

argh not sure why it didn't upload my images... will add in the comments

People always ask me why I say I love Empower, this is why. I had my last injection Sunday morning, April 19th and then unfortunately had emergency surgery Tuesday, April 21st. I am not allowed to take my injection for two weeks after surgery. It was my first 5 mg dose. I am 10+ days post injection and still have the food noise suppression. Crazy!

I get my 2nd vial of 6 month pack from Pom tomorrow, very interested to see how the BUD is as they have been very short, which is my only complaint.
