I need to machine a 0.0780" Diameter Pin of 0.225" length and cone angle of 60deg at one end with tolerance of 0.0001" on diameter. Material is M2 steel. Need inputs on how to machine this. This is for a aerospace customer.

I have a ring gear of 0.7module for which internal teeth cutting is required and part is hardened to 40HRC. I want to do gear shaping on this and selected HSS S390 material for shaper cutter.
Will this S390 material work for 40HRC parts.

Have a new jobwork for cutting gears on Custom 455. First time using this material. Need some inputs on the hob materail and cutting parameters.
