2021 Tacoma Full brake job - 1k?
Hey all! Nyc tacoma here. Drive it hard up and down the coast and even harder with the winter this year.
Got about 60K Miles on it, felt some grinding and heard some squealing from my brakes so off to my local i go.
Got quoted 1k Flat for brakes and rotors (Can attest myself ive seen them and the fronts need to be replaced, and the rear drums must have been housing that nyc rock salt in em somewhere)
I got a second quote for 1400, hard pass.
I dont have the time to do them myself unfortunately - recently had twins - But its the first time ive really gone to shops to do anything as 3 years ago i did everything myself.
Is this the new going rate? I remember doing my own for pennies on the dollar and want to be sure im not being taken for a ride, even did the age ole' take it to a second guy and dont tell them about the first.
What do you guys think?
