RAY can harness Xels from defeated Robots to transform. These adaptations, known as Variation Codes, modify her right arm, granting her specialized attributes based on her fallen foes

Beyond her Xel-based transformations, RAY wields two distinct offensive techniques:

Claw Shot – In Mighty Gunvolt Burst, she can detach and launch her buster arm as a projectile. While dealing high damage, its slow speed and limited range demand precise use.

Collapse RAY – A devastating laser cannon unleashed from her mouth.

Variation Codes:

Variation Code: Pyrogen-When this form is set, every slash of RAY's claw attack will be connected with a explosion, regardless of if the slash hits or misses.

Variation Code: Cryosphere-RAY can shoot three ice balls on screen, and the balls bounce off of enemies upon impact, making it possible for them to freeze more enemies. When an enemy is hit with this weapon, it will be covered in ice shards and take damage over time, gradually moving slower and slower. When its health is fully depleted, it will be frozen, Bosses, however, cannot be frozen.

Variation Code: Dynatron-RAY shoots a single bit that sticks to enemies or terrain to guide electricity. A bit directly stuck to an enemy will deal continuous damage via a stream of energy, while a bit stuck to terrain will release two opposing sparks that travel along the surface. When an enemy's health is fully depleted from a connected bit, it will be groggy, allowing RAY to absorb it via dashing without having to touch it, since the enemy is connected to RAY's antenna through the electric current.

Variation Code: Seismic-RAY fires a modestly ranged drill tethered to an energy cord. It can penetrate through enemy shields and is able to hit twice (once going forward and once while returning), rendering it unblockable against most foes. If the drill connects to a climbable platform, RAY is automatically drawn to it and hoists herself up. Unlike most weapons, it can be fired vertically as well as horizontally.

Variation Code: Battalion-Ray unleashes a rapid-fire minigun attack that can destroy most blocks

Variation Code: Aviator-A 360-degree scanning field surrounds Ray. When a destructible object or enemy comes into range, a target icon appears over them. If RAY uses her dash while the icon is present, she automatically homes in on the target.

Variation Code: Brandish-The normal attack, a sword swipe, consuming no energy when used and able to deflect most projectiles. The charged attack consumes a large amount of weapon energy and causes RAY to freeze time as she delivers slashes to all destructible targets onscreen when she activates the attack.

Variation Code: Countershade-allows RAY to cloak, making her invisible and negating damage from attacks that would have hit her. If RAY dashes and absorbs Xel while cloaked (Assassin Kill), she recovers more weapon energy than usual.
