resources & opportunities for mechanical engineering students?

hi!! ive been recently on the fence about where i should go for transfer!

my goal after graduation is to go into mechanical design like in automotive or something. my two choices is either u of southern california or uwb, its really been hard bc one is super far from home but has good opportunities and the other im kinda clueless abt because i dont really know about the other uw campuses lol.

i wanted to know if anyone had experience w being a engineering student at bothell, like how hard internships were to find/get and experience in engineering clubs. im really focused on trying to max out my resume before grad lol

roi for a viterbi student

ik this probably asked sm, but is it worth it to take out private loans for usc?

i got around $58k in gift aid and then the full federal loan amount $7500, and also a federal work-study offer. i have around $12k of tuition that i need to pay out of pocket and i plan to find housing off campus, thats around $15k.

my parents are able to pay $10k for my tuition, and i was thinking about taking out 17k in private loans for housing and the remaining amount of tuition through a credit union (if anyone has any other ideas let me know pls). due to this, im not 100% committed and i wanted some feedback from current or former students!

im a mechanical engineering major and my plan after graduation is to move back to seattle and find a job close to home and continue pay off my debt of $34k (not including interest). any insight is appreciated!

oos cc articulation

hii im from an oos college and i have taken a bunch of calculus and physics courses, however, calc 1+2 at my current school covers calc 1 at usc. it does the same for physics too :(

does anyone know if i would have to take the rest of these course sequences at usc or have to take a placement test or smth?

edit: i finished calc 1-4 and phys 1-3 at my cc
