Are the Lilypad just supposed to have all of their enclaves out and all of their warriors out for the entire game (without hirelings)? I've tried various combinations at 3 players and it always feels like the Lilypad get all of their warriors out by turn 3 and then the warriors and enclaves stay out throughout the entire game. I know that they're balanced at 4p, but are they just not balanced or viable at 3p?
I like the Tom Teaches boxes (but without the insert trays). I find them to be a lot more forgiving than 3D printed solutions which seemed to require very specific orientations of the pieces to fit properly. All factions and main pieces are in the base Root box. In the Riverfolk Expansion box I have all of the playmats and the gorge map. The riverfolk box doesn't sit quite flush. The base box would without the rulebook but doesn't with. Everything else I dump into the remaining expansion boxes, but I don't use those other pieces or maps, so they just sit on a shelf. Basically, I have two boxes for everything I personally play with.
