3D printer

Anyone here has any 3D printer?? or maybe they know a shop from where we can get our 3D prints. I had few requirements but like, buying a 3D printer just for few things seems unreasonable. I am from khanna but I am pretty sure there are no such shops here. maybe I can find someone or some shops from where I can get my 3d prints

RTL-SDR dongle places to buy

Hi guys, I am from India and like, I have been learning about RTL SDR and I wanted to buy this. The only issue being, I cant find it at any offline store and online stores are selling it for way too much money. I dont think a simple dongle like that should be 4k rupees (40 dollars for reference). Can anyone in the community help me out, if they are from India, like tell me from where do you guys buy it

Marchenko-Pastur (MP) Distribution - a concept I learnt today

Today we will learn about Marchenko-Pastur (MP) Distribution and what it is. And if anyone knows about it, can anyone tell if they have used it.

It all started in the 1950s, calculating the exact quantum energy states of a heavy nucleus like Uranium-238 was computationally impossible due to the complex, many-body interactions of protons and neutrons. Eugene Wigner bypassed this by hypothesizing that the complex Hamiltonian (energy matrix) of the system could be modeled as a large Random Matrix governed by fundamental symmetries.

Long story short, Eugene Wigner proved that statistical properties of complex nuclear systems like Uranium in our case are completely determined by the system's symmetries, not the exact nature of the microscopic interactions. So all matter basically act in similar way, and that is determined by their symmetries on molecular rather than their behaviour that we see on human level.

Now coming few decades after this discovery, we had Vladimir Marchenko and Leonid Pastur in 1967, who were both mathematicians. They solved a different problem that relies on the exact same underlying random matrix mechanics. They asked: If you take a completely random data matrix (pure noise) and calculate its sample covariance matrix, what do its eigenvalues look like?

In finance, if we try to measure the correlation between hundreds of stocks using limited historical data, our sample covariance matrix C is incredibly noisy. Marchenko and Pastur proved that as the number of assets N and the number of time observations T both grow very large, the eigenvalues of a purely random correlation matrix converge to a strict geometric distribution, known as the Marchenko-Pastur (MP) Distribution.

Long story short - The Marchenko-Pastur formula helps finance professionals filter out market noise from true stock correlations, enabling the construction of robust, "crash-proof" portfolios by identifying authentic relationships. It enables risk managers to detect hidden trends and avoid underestimating portfolio risk by distinguishing significant signals from random market fluctuations.
