Central Queensland, near Biloela. These guys seemed to hatch today and were trying to climb up our water tank. No bigger than 5mm across. Just had 5mm of rain yesterday after a bit of a dry spell. The spinnerets seem very funnel web shaped and they've got that banding on their legs. I didn't think they came up this far north. We do live next to a creek, which manages to stay relatively cool and could provide a micro climate?
