ucr vs ucsd cs ‼️

here’s the thing: i’m settled and all good with UCR CS, i’ve got my housing, my orientation and advising date, all done and paid for. but i JUST got off the waitlist at UCSD for CS too, and they’re giving me until the 5th of july to accept my offer. all the paperwork (housing application, orientation info, transcripts, etc.) needs to be submitted by july 1 though, and that already passed so i’m unsure on what to do with that.

i need honest opinions on where i should go ‼️ honestly i’m fine with UCR CS, but UCSD is calling meeeee and with that comes a waste of money for everything i’ve already paid for at UCR (and cancelling my housing contract would also require payment if ever) send help pls…

note: i’m coming in as a transfer student! the tuition is lowkey the same (correct me if i’m wrong), UCR is giving me more in terms of grants than UCSD though, so i’d have to pay a little bit more if i decide to go there..
