can anyone suggest a book for proof writing in mathematics ( beginner friendly) and how should anyone read these books.

as i have started to learn mathematics recently and came to know that proof writing is also one of the skills a math student should have. how should i approach this topic.

is there any way of proving or disproving limits of piece-wise functions . can anyone give me example

Hi. i have recently read the epsilon- delta definition of limits , but i have not seen it in any piece wise function . i have seen determining limits or existence of the limits for piece wise functions only by using left and right handed limits.

Need some advice for self study Applied math.

hi i am a normal guy( in India) and want to learn(self study) mathematics. but the problem is that I did not have mathematics as a subject in high school( only have physics , chemistry and biology) . can anyone please suggest a detailed one on one overlap between the topics of UG math curriculum and high school math syllabus so i don't have to give my 2 years just practicing high school math and at last doing nothing in higher physics or any other fields.( it would great if you also could suggest a easier sequence to learn these)
