Hey! I am an incoming student and had a few questions abt welcome week. Which activities are worth going to? Do they cost any money?

Hey! So I was going through the campus store online and I put my ID number in but it only shows one of my classes needs one so I was wondering when the rest would upload. I went to head start a few weeks ago and somebody told me to check brightspace but yet none of my courses have a brightspace. Could somebody help me and tell me when I’ll get access to these things? It’s my first year so I’m just trying to prepare

Hey! I am living on residence this upcoming semester and I was wondering if I could have packages mailed ahead of time to the residence so they’re there on move in day so it’s less for me to bring.

Hey! So I paid my fall fees a few days ago
, just the difference that osap won’t cover. my osap just changed yesterday to make it so i get more from it. What happens w the extra money i paid? Does it get refunded to me? Is there a way to make it go towards for winter fees?

I am entering my first year and I’m looking for employment in Windsor. I thought the ignite stuff would be perfect for me but how likely is it that’ll I’ll get a position. I went through all available positions and found 15 I’d be eligible for. If anybody can give me some intel or other employment opportunities not far from the university that’d be helpful. Thank you!

I had some questions I wanted to ask abt my osap funding and scholarships to the financial office at school, but I’ve tried to call twice both on separate days within their office hours and both times I get out on hold for 2-3 hours then switched to a different line just to be on hold and for them to hung up because it became outside their office hours. I have tried emailing and it says it will take 20-25 business days for a reply. I want to make sure I can have my payments in b4 the 15th, but seeing as my questions r directly abt it, I just want to make sure I’m doing it right b4 I pay. I am entering my first year and live hours away so going in person is not an option. If anybody has any advice that’ll be great

I am entering my first year and I heard from a family friend who attended and lived on residence that their parents weren’t allowed to go into the residence to help them unpack their stuff. Apparently it was just older students helping first years move in and parents were told to wait outside of the building. I was wondering if there’s still truth to this? If this is true then how long does it take to get unpacked normally? Cause they had us pick a 15 min time slot and I feel like it may take longer. Any help is much appreciated:)

Hey! So I got an email this morning saying my osap funding changed for the year. Before it was just under 20k for the entire year w my school fees being around 26k. Now, they’ve changed that so I get 15k for the whole year, my first semester alone is 14k. Why tf did it change so suddenly cause now I’m not sure if I can afford to go to school?
