Just plucked this. The only shroomy that grew. Is it safe to eat with this black stuff on the side? Also can you eat it wet?

Is this contaminated? Smells somewhat earthy like mycelium. It’s got a grayish blue tint to it now instead of pure white. I just realized that I shouldn’t be fruiting off grain spawn and I need some substrate. Is it too late to transfer this onto substrate?

This was taken two weeks ago and I thought I was about to start the fruiting process. It’s now been two weeks and nothing has happened. I’ve kept the airflow very minimal bc I’m concerned about contamination but there’s been plenty of indirect sunlight. What am I doing wrong?
