I started my first mushroom mini monotubs and am wondering why they don’t go straight up?

Just plucked this. The only shroomy that grew. Is it safe to eat with this black stuff on the side? Also can you eat it wet?

This is my first MonoTub grow (FCPE) the first flush only produced about 200G, and the second only 8 fruits and 161G. I soaked the cake for about 2-3 hrs after the first flush.The biggest fruit of this second flush had fallen over, most the vales were broken, and had just started to drop spores when I harvested the first. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I will explain my Situation: it is my first grow indeed but not from scratch. I bought a ready2grow bag wich was fully colonized.

After my first harvest i made a dumb mistake with the bag and transfered everything to i think it is a "shoebox" which is unmodified.

I just keep both lids open.

After another 2 successful flushes, now my flush stalled midway. And the fuzzy feet does worry me a little bit as it gets higher very fast.

And now I just want to improve my box, as I think the cake has not finished from my newb eyes.

I'm 90% sure on that.

Humidity is between 94-97% all the time

Finally depleted the cake (two flushes), dried, cleaned, and sealed my harvest. Came out to a little under 10 oz. dried. APEs are on deck and ready to S2B in about a week!

Came across this jar from a grow a few years back. Jar’s been sealed and kept in a tote in dark, dry area. Looks clean. Think it might transfer to fresh jars of WBS?

Infused mushrooms into orange juice and mixed the oj with strawberry jello and then I rolled em in PK energy powder specifically the dollar general flavor bannana watermelon and strawberry to make em sour.

I wonder that its not White as i see in all of your tubs.

I dont want to buy the wrong one but i dont see differences, only between colors.

Ultrasonic Diffusers

So I'm not always around to mist the inside of my monotub for proper humidity. I've been experimenting with an Ultrasonic Diffuser that's normally used as a home air freshener. Of course it would have to be unused with no essential oils ever in it. They can be set to create a small mist several times a minute and will maintain a proper humidity level for mushrooms. I've seen something similar in expensive monotub grow kits. The one I've been playing with is easily adaptable to accept a hose to run directly into the monotub. Any thoughts one way or another? First flush complete!Honestly surprised by how quickly they took off, they’ve grown in full force and look great so far.

For anyone who’s tried B+ before, what was your experience like? I’m especially curious about potency and what a cautious first experience looked like for you. I’d rather start low than overdo it.
