So for years ive been wanting an authentic akatsuki cloak. Like a handmade version and not the dogshit cheapo cloaks they sell on amazon. So i came across this website called Cosplay Palace that sells not only high quality naruto cosplay items, but anime costumes and outfits from other anime like MHA and Sailor Moon. Ive never heard of them before today so i wanted to ask if anyone here has dealt with them, are they reputable. And also i wanted to ask if anyone else knows where i can get a high quality akatsuki cloak. Something thats not the cheap amazon kind? Please and thank you!
So i have a question. One of my fav arcs in naruto is the war arc. Now of course in the anime the war arc has alot of great moments but also alot of feet dragging and unnecessary moments. Im currently reading through the naruto manga(currently on chapter 373, the pain v jiraiya fight) and im just curious about how the war arc is in the manga. For those who have read the manga how different is the war arc in the manga compared to the anime? Is it better, worse, faster paced, slower paced?
So im curious, i know yall probably get alot of posts like this but this year ive started to actually develop anxiety symptoms. I had an anxiety attack earlier this year which was my first in over 15 years. A few months ago i had my second this year so two already this year(along with a few minor close calls). For me some symptoms ive been having is minor chest and throat tightness. Its not painful, id just call it mildly discomforting. But i notice it only comes when im thinking about it. Whenever my mind is occupied, i feel fine(or when i do my specific anxiety relief triggers). I mainly want to ask if anyone else has had these same sort of symptoms. Sometimes it feels like im going to have a heart attack but then after i calm down a bit then the sensation goes away and ive been told heart problems dont just come and go, they come and are persistent so thats whats got me thinking its not heart related but at the same time idk for sure
Anyone else think leonard is sort of a pushover when it comes to penny? Im watching the episode where leonard finds out penny is moving his stuff out of his room. And instead of probing why she did it or trying to find a compromise he basically just lets her decorate the room however she wants. Its not even there room anymore, its her room and leonard just lives there. Even the episode where penny didnt know leonards birthday(or really anything about him) all that gets ignored when she finds a small secret that he hid and instead now he is the one apologizing and bending over backwards for her. Now i know most of yall will say its simple, happy wife happy life, but theres a difference between that and being a pushover. He doesnt challenge her or ever tell her no and i partly think thats because he afraid if he pushed back she will leave him. He already constantly questions why she is with him in the first place. Idk i just frel like sometimes he needs to stand on business with penny instead of going yes penny, im sorry penny, your right penny. 😅idk, just rambling
So i was just watching a random episode of tbbt(the one where Bernadette announces her pregnancy) and penny suggested they go to a bar while drinking a glass of wine and it got me thinking, i cant remember the last time(if at all) that i saw her drinking something that wasnt alcohol. Shes always drinking either wine or beer and anytime she is stressed or needs relief the first thing she reaches for is alcohol. Even after her crazy naked night with raj literally the very next episode the first thing we see her do is pour a glass of wine, as if she learned absolutely nothing from that incident. She has to have some sort of alcoholism or something. Seriously can someone point out a moment where she was actually drinking something other than alcohol.???
After watching ep1 and sitting with it for a while i started to get vibes of futurama in the sense of its a sci fi-esqe show with a cast of characters that at first glance dont really seem like they go together just going on random adventures. Anyone else get thay vibe??
So i just noticed something. If you count all of last season and all of this season(so far) there have been 12 events(36 total podium spots) that have been awarded. Out of all 36 total podiums only 5 of them have been american drivers. Anyone else think thats a bit crazy. I understand international drivers dominating overseas but it seems they can even come to america and dominate us on our own turf. now dont get me wrong im not hating on the international drivers(my top 2 fav drivers are james and piotr) but it just seems as if even for the premier series in america, European drivers seem to dominate the sport. Why is this the case? Is it just that european drivers are more passionate and take drifting more seriously. Curious to hear what yall think?
Serious question. Does anyone here actually watch Prospec? Ive tried a few times and its just such an eye sore to watch. I realize the cars aren't as great and the rules may be different but the drivers in that series drive like they just got there drivers license yesterday. I thought prospec was supposed to be a step up from grassroots but i cant tell the difference between prospec and lone star drift(except the cars look a bit better but thats about it). I dont want to diminish other enjoyment of prospec if you like it but idk, i dont see how people enjoy watching prospec, maybe its just me
Technical issues aside(the racer app personally worked great for me) but that was one of FD's best events in a long time. Aasbo going out in 32, connor car crapping out on him, cole richards putting the whole fd field on notice(he should have gotten the w against chris) vaughn and james putting on an absolute show in the finals and just the overall driving was spectacular. The wally system is complete dogshit in qualifying but it works pretty good in main competition. Between the event, the crowd, the atmosphere, and the driving this is what fd can be when its on it. This is why i keep saying atlanta should be the final round. I get if the racer app/technical issues made this event a crapper for some but for me i was clapping, shouting, and getting hyped this whole event. I honeslty think this event was better than dm rd 1. I dont expect every event to be this good but id definitely give this event personally a 9/10(again i get it if others feel the complete opposite)
With DM RD1 wrapping up how we feeling about the early drifing season so far. Yall think Connor will be the second driver to win FD and DM in the same year. Or maybe James comes back and completes the jordan-esque double 3 peat. Will Ben Hobson finally get a podium this year? Will Aasbo take advantage of the opoortunity to win another title? Will Dave Egan finally be given a break and actually have a good DM event? How yall feeling???
So i was watching some prospec highlights and i was thinking man it sure would be nice if fd could field great long term fd pro series drivers from their prospec series. I feel most of the great drivers in fd are drivers from other top series or overseas drivers. The competition in prospec reminds me of fd back around 2009-2011 where you won a battle by just finishing the run and not straightening. And i feel 90% of the drivers who move up to the pro series are either out of fd within 3-4 years or end up mid at best. Now I realize that a lot of the problem with that has to do with the financial toll It takes to run a full FD season which in the past, I've jokingly referred to FD as the world's most expensive hobby. Im just curious is there a better way to get better talent out of prospec, or have prospec drivers be better equipped to endure the pro series, whether it be through a culture or format change or is prospec just always gonna be this way an fd will always just heavily rely on overseas drivers to carry them.
