3 or 4 hour Internet outages are nothing new. Cox's most recent outage is going on three days. Cox offers workarounds and backups to customers with its phone service and it's pricier plans. The upgrades and add-ons are not worth what they cost to low income customers on the discounted public schools plan just to get through a short outage. I think someone should investigate if they are prolonging this outage to maneuver customers on the discounted public schools plan to sign up for upgrades and add-ons.
