If you enjoyed any of the Tony Hawk games you have to try reTHAWed on the deck. Community mod for Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland that ports over Classic Mode for THPS 2 and 3, THUG2, and Project 8, while having Classic and Story Mode for American Wasteland.

Great for bite sized sessions, but can also be addicting to sink hours into, especially with the killer soundtracks. Tons of skaters to choose from, like hundreds, but I had to download a mod for the Link getup.

The mod requires a copy of American Wasteland. Check out the discord on the mod website for assistance!

I’ve gotta crawl before I run and I am working my way up to making a cutting board. Figured I could use the scraps of pickets I have to make coasters. I had a lot of fun with them. Plenty of imperfections but hey, it’s rustic.

Thinking of doing a 4th of July quiz with the family to give them away to the winner.

Props to the two who built theirs in hours, this monster consumed my weekend. I probably bit off more than I could chew, and she’s got flaws, but she’s mine and I’m happy.

I followed the John Malecki beginner workbench plan, but I don’t have a table saw so I did not trim off the roundovers. I also applied linseed oil which I’m not sure was necessary and was a total pain in the ass. Finished with a top of hardboard for a smooth disposable surface. My garage slopes down, hence the shims.
