She and her cats have something in common. I wonder if it's for the same reason

She's up to 8 kids now. I don't know if she's trying to pass how many offspring her cats keep having? This isn't the first time she's had kittens up for *rehoming*. I also don't understand her wanting to rehome them if she let's her cats keep breeding because they keep getting killed. I hope her kids don't get too traumatized when they find the mangled corpses of their kittens because mom and dad run a coyote and hawk all you can eat buffet.

Help! I don't know what this is

I thought it was kasasagi since that was my only small dahlia, but now that it's bloomed I know it isn't.

I did a big downsize this year where I gave away almost all my tubers, and I didn't mark any when I pulled them up last year.

I did grow some from seeds last year, but they didn't bloom, so it could possibly be one of those.

It's about the size of a 50 cent piece and I love the color, but I'd also love to put a name to it...and actually label them this year.

How would I go about planting this?

It's a plum tree that's available at a nearby nursery. I'm wondering if it's worth it to make the trip to buy it or pass on it. If I do buy it, would I put it in the soil so it's angled up and pack the dirt in around it?
