Where is this house? Help me find my missing package!?
Calling all internet sleuths! Here is a picture the FedEx deliveryman uploaded as "proof of delivery," but he delivered my package to the wrong address. I am calling on some noble internet detectives to help me identify the house so I can try to reclaim my pacakge.
The town is Mount Pleasant, UT. Here are my thoughts:
- This house was built pre-2000 based on its color and design, and the fact that it has a full rock face.
- The uneven sidewalk and aged, unpruned tree tells me this house has been around a while and probably belongs to an older person.
- Based upon the mountains in the valley, I believe this picture was taken facing north, which means this house is likely facing west, since who puts a full rock face on the back of the house (and the FedEx guy likely put the package in the front of the house).
- Given that we have such a clear view to the north, I believe this house is on the north side of town.
I suppose it's possible that the package was delivered to the wrong town; Mount Pleasant has lots of small satellite communities, but based upon the horizon, I believe it's likely Mount Pleasant.
I've tried driving around the neighborhoods, asking my neighbors, and playing around inside Google Maps, but I haven't found the mystery house. Please, anyone who is really good at this kind of thing, I would appreciate your help! Thanks!
(Now, before you ask, yes, I've reached out to the shipper and the FedEx, but they're both proven unhelpful. I either find this package myself or I lose the money.)
